Performance shops?

Hey guys, I was wondering if there are any good performance shops you would recommend at a great labor price to install things as Forged Pistons, clutch, brake systems? Northern Virginia preferred! Thanks.

Altered Atmosphere is in Gaithersburg, MD. Not sure how far that is from NoVa but its not too far off the beltway so cant be too long of a drive. Last time I was there, saw a nice Evo on the lift and a bunch of turbo 350Z's out front. Not sure what they do with the lancer tho. their site is the same as their name.

AMStuning in Gaithersburg... it's not that far. By the way, do you have an MR? I think I've seen you in Vienna. I work on Church Street...

My mistake fellas. The last time I was at Altered Atomosphere, they also went by another name for there European cars. It was owned by the same company, just under a different name. I actually grew up in Gaithersburg, and went to Quince Orchard High School so I know the area. I just had the shops mixed up.

My mistake...

No I only have an OZ What color evo do you have? I'm planning on upgrading the clutch/flywheel and maybe pistons/pauter rods to upgrade to max 15psi of boost. Thanks for posting, I'll prolly give AMStuning a call one of these days....

I have a Silver Evo that's parked on Church St. almost every day near the post office (and Custard Store ). Actually, for the next week or so, I'm borrowing my brother's WRX (nice car, but SLOW )...

There are couple places you can take your car around nva. Curry auto in Chantilly and Sterling, Mach V in Sterling, and I think there’s a place in Chantilly called evolution Motorsports. You can find all the information through google just type in their names.

Anyone have any experience with Extreme Motorsports? They've been around a long time and have a 4G63 Talon that runs 150+ mph 1/4s. I called them for a quote on a cam install and they were priced similarly to AMS Tuning. I've heard that in the DSM world, they are similar in reputation to Buschur and RRE.

Where would be a good place to have a forged pistons installed? I called Curry auto but they don't do that kind of stuff and mitsu dealer is charging hefty! I have a base lancer. I think it should be the same install as the evolution right?
