Interested in Possibly purchasing an EVO....

Hey all... I posted along time ago and it didnt hit me until recent that the srt4 heavily modded may have to go... I am just really sick of the fwd and crappy wheel hop, and of course other items...

I am located in Southern Maryland, but am willing to possibly travel for a good deal on a evo.... I would hopefully like to trade the srt 4 in..... Anyone have any good contacts to salesman or dealers.. I am a team player but play none of the salesmen games etc......

I owe about 14k right now, and with stage 3 with toys, and of course Big FMIC, water injection and all the other mods that normal srts have... I am looking to hopefully get around 17-18k.. about 4-5k in return value to put down towards the evo... Anyone have any comments or suggestions..

They are welcome!

We have a customer who just got rid of his SRT-4 for a 05 Evo. Unfortunately, no one dealer is offering great deals at the moment. Your best bet is probably to take them up on the 0% financing offer.

I got a good deal at Sheehy in Manassas. Not sure if you are looking to buy in VA, but that my 2 cents.

I just bought a 2006 eclipse for my wife at Jerry's Mitsubishi in Baltimore. Its a hike but the salesmen there are absolutely fantastic with no tricks or pressure. Every time, they've hooked me up and done me right. Ask for Kris Beall there, he's the best.

Also, the instant 0% financing is gone for all the '05s. No evos left. I was told by Kris that he's getting a Electric blue IX in next week.

As far as the SRT-4 goes, the best bet is parting out the extra parts and returning it to stock. You'll get good value for your upgrades and more value for a stock car. Trust me, its worth it. Carmax will buy your car back based on bluebook value so if you need to sell and cant find private party, thats the way to go. Its a pain, but its the only way you aren't gonna lose your shirt.

I guess they just don't like me..... when I went in to buy my EVO they tried charging me 32K for a 2003 GSR, when the 2004 GSR were already out. I went to Fox Mitusbishi and paid 26,500 K. I'll never buy again from Jerrys after the mind games they like to play!

Well, the salesman I got was fantastic but they do tend to like MSRP alot. Not the cheapest place exactly.

What are you looking for the EVO VIII or IX? I know that Sheehy in Waldorf only had one white one left with SSL they were asking MSRP, but I bet if they still have it they will sell it for less, because the IX's are coming out now and they need to get it off the lot.

Also the Annapolis dealership had a few on the lot last month.

I was looking at trading in my 04 for a 05, but they were still asking a little too much for me to sign the papers.

Where are you in southern MD? I live in Lusby, MD

Hey man, I am over here in California, I drive a blue srt right now, it has a side exit, rather fast, probably one of the fastest in SOMD.... I just realy dont want white uggh, id prefer to have black or blue, i know both will be hard to come by.... What is the actual MSRP on these ?? I am waiting on "memo" from dcevoclub to get back to me, but I havent heard from him yet... Ugggh

I am looking for an Evo 8, I am sure the 9's are going to be a little pricey.....

I also dealt with Kris with my car. I wound up finalizing the deal with their sales manager Sam (no problems with Kris, unfortunately he was on vacation when I made my decision). I got an 05 MR for less than Edmund's listed Invoice AND TMV. A smoking deal indeed. They also gave me more trade-in value than my car's KBB retail worth.

I would have to look up the MSRP, INVOICE, and the OTD price. I think if you do a search for "Best Deal" or "OTD price" you should get a few good threads about prices on the 05's. You could also probaly find it on Google.
