Just broke the 400 mark on a dyno dynamics today. Going to have to stop by all aspects and see what it'll do on a dyno jet

I hate my triple disc. One launch, and it was good for daily no wot driving after that. I wish I knew how to change it out myself to save the money. Crazy how the install price is nearly the same amount as the clutch and pressure plate.

You launched one time and blew out your clutch? Was it broke in first?

I suppose, bout 500-1000 miles. Was a guy I used to work around. Said he done them before. Had no reason to think otherwise, gave him the parts and cash. yeah 450 is the price around here for the job if its not an mr. Been quoted up to 750. I meant a single disc swap for the price.

it shouldnt be bad then. I have already drove about 2000 miles on mine since it was installed last week. lol. i would question the install. And with the triple your spring clip could go, might be that. STM sells a kit to stop that. I really dont think your clutch is bad thou.

ya i drove over there expecting to leave it there. the tall black guy took out the plug, cleaned it then put em back in pretty much. he said drive it see if the cylinder reseals, i dont think it has. and if it has its still smoking. idk how much itd cost overall, but with paying for it then the 35 bucks a night to have it sit overnight after fixing it, not thinkin imma be able to afford it. which sucks. this car is a moneypit.

Thats an evo for ya. like a big block chevy always having to tinker with it. I blew a coupling this morning, not a big deal zip tied it together the 2 blocks away from the house and put a new one on I had laying around.
I love my evo, clutches have just been my peeve. I readjusted my pedal yesterday, no slipping till 23 psi. good enough to trade in for the cobra I suppose.
