SO i was wondering if anyone knows the guy that works on little creek base with a X (not sure what color) but apparently has 750+ hp to the wheels. A co-worker told me you guys were talking about it and you said you know who i am. I havent seen your car and would like to check it out sometime.

There are not that many X with that kinda power. I have driven one of them!!!
But what is the EVO scene like up there i am in pensacola,fl and i am coming up there for a tour to Kuwait and then follow on in the norfolk little creek area. Just wondering what kind of support there is for the EVO community up there.

Ummm well the couple people i have met are cool. We talk about hanging out alot but dont. Theres a decent amount of evos out here though. If your looking for work there is one shop i would go to (sage Auto.)

 

Before i left i saw a blue X a few times on base, but that was the only one. Youll love kuwait tho thats where we get to go before coming home from iraq for decompression time. They have fast food, star bucks with wifi, big shopping areas..not a bad place. When i get back im going to Pensacola for a month for recruiter training. 3 years of shore duty as a recruiter FINALLY ill make all the car meets lol.

 

Kuwait was ok when i was there. But i had to stay on camp patriot and wasnt allowed to AJ much.

I haven't seen or heard of the car but I'd be a bit skeptical it is making that kind of power. if it is i want to go for a ride!

Thats what i told my co-worker. I said either buschur or ams had the record so i highly doubted it. I also might have mentioned that if he had that much power i want a ride and race. lol. I will find out tomorrow how the guy feels when i go back to work.

I almost left the Evo scene yet i couldnt do it. I love my car too much. Jasons Evo is still getting worked on. I have met a few evo owners over the time period i have been here.

Many have left the scene some are married and have family's to take care of, Some are just too busy and some are above the midnight hangout times.

Im always down to meet up. Right now i am on a training det down here in Jacksonville, FL. I will return on the 20th to see my wide body sitting wait for me.

As for a 700hp Evo X in our areas? nope. Im sure i of all would of heard it from someone already. Not saying i know everything yet i have alot of people who like to talk cars and anything Evo related they come tell me for some reason ahha..

But yes i take all my work to Sage Auto. They do some good work.

 

What is the race scene like up there. Local track's and what not. 1/4 or 1/8 and how strict are they on safety gear and roll cages.

I have driven the WW EVO X built by TTR that is in the 700 AWHP ballpark and it is a BLAST! But there are not that many that are privately owned. AMS has there's but it is a track car not a street car.

 

Im not above the midnight time meet up except i am like a old man and in bed by then. lol. but i am always up for a meet. slicks are fitted on my car right now for the NC race.

 

Well Chris i think im going to keep my wheels for now so i cna use the money to do some motor work. Just going to throw some 275's on there and space them out.

 

how far is it to get to the shot out. Also how far was it for you to get tuned at STM. We do not have a AWD dyno here so it is all street tuning
