Va Beach EVO's
LOL thanks man i wont put you through that. I ended up going to advance auto and grabbin a random hose off their shelf and just hacked it. east coast is the ones who chopped my stocker! haha. thanks guy appreciate the responses.
Hows the car running now after the BOV was worked again?
you can get ahold of forced fed in NC, about 3 hours away and really good people. or if you are feeling ballsy and your military you can always if in a pinch try the automart on base.
lol took the car into sage and they did in prob 10 minutes what 2 other companys tried but couldnt or wouldnt. (not mentioning shop names). car runs awesome, synapse bov is a PAIN!! but once installed correctly is an amazing bov.
last time i was there was early may. and my car had to go back like i told ya bc it was still somehow getting oil into the cylinders, which is why i dont like them. they claim that when the engine went out the first time that stuff got into the head and chose not to machine it to save me money.
What do you mean it is a pain? Installing a bov is very easy.
Like gary said it has 3 ports vice 1. its way bigger and you have to rotate your intake so that the valve is coming out in a different location. not to mention i had to have the uicp tapped to run one of the hoses into it.
Nope, don't have it. Supposedly get it back together tomorrow but won't b able to pick up til friday/saturday. Which makes me wonder, when I got the clutch disc replaced, and just the disc, it seemed VERY touchy. Like the clutch goes from not engaged at all to fully engaged within like 1/4 of an inch with the pedal. (Hope I didn't lose u on that one) but would it be so touchy because its a new disc? Or because the pressure plate needs replaced? Because I'm pondering how much I'd be able to get now that it practically has a new engine and other components, and only thing with mileage to worry bout is the tranny, I'm curious as to how much I'd be able to sell it for.
I say keep that selling thing out of your mind unless you really need to. Yes you have had some bumps in the road and problems but i know first hand how rewarding it is when a reputible shop gets their hands on it and it is running great. I had numerous problems with mine and got it fixed and love every moment i have it now. Once you get it back i would take it to STM(im a little biased there) or CBRD and get a tune and have them give it a once over.
As for your clutch problem it might be as easy as adjusting the clutch pedal.
