MD: Looking at a IX

Whats up guys. New to the site and EVO scene. I'm looking into purchasing an EVO IX GSR SSL later this summer. Just curious if you guys could help me out by letting me know ballpark figures on what you guys bought yours at even the VIII's. Nearest Dealer is a half hour away. Also what kinda inventory are these guys keeping? Anything at all or did you have to order? Thanks!

Go to Stohlman mitsubishi in Tyson's Corner. He gives the biggest discount on EVO's. My boy just got one from there in the begining on Feb. Real nice guys. We drove up from Vriginia Beach to get it. I think the EVOIX is like 32000 OTD(out the door), with sin and sound option like 34000 OTD. MR is like 37500 OTD base. Hope these help you out.

I got my 2005 Evolution VIII w/out SSL from DARCARS MITSUBISHI for $27,000 before taxes, tags, title, and all that crap brand new with 2 miles on it. The service was good IMO and my sales guy (George) was very nice and helpful throughout the browsing and then purchasing process. Good luck with your purchase.

i was going to get the ssl. then i got an MR. If i could do it again i would have taken the third option and got the base model and had the dealer install a sunroof ($1000), then i would sell the front IX seats, install better leather seats, and keep the back ones. i personally had major back problems with the lack of lower support on the Recaros. ADD Hid's and your set

Thanks for the replies guys. I was figuring around 33 or so. I do have the luxury of being able to wait awhile for it so I may just order it to save a little money and get exactly what I want. As far as the seats I love the new ones. Coming from a Scooby it doesn't take much to sit in a better seat but their still nicer from anything else I've sat in. Thanks again.

You could always ship an evo from out of state if you wanted. I got an 8 from California. Might not be worth it right now though.

This thread shows the price to order one from CA.

$28,599 for the IX + TTL. It's about $700 to ship it here using Dependable Auto Shippers.
