Watch out!! Washington metropolitan area

Hi guys,
I just want to share this info with you all.
I picked up my MR today at Stohlman's at Tysons corner, VA.
While I was talking to the sales manager, mike, told me recently some cheap thieves broke into his lot and took all the recaro seats from 3 MRs!!! He told me I'm lucky to have my MR since it was in the showroom! Damn, I'm getting my alarm installed tomorrow. Run the words amongst members. Be extra careful with your evos!

Did you get the WW MR they had?

NoVA has always had a problem with thieves... My bro's DC was stolen and stripped to a shell recently...

Come get a Jestr tune on March 10th and gain an additional ~50hp....The car will feel completely different (a beast) ....Best mod you can make to the IX IMHO....

Here is the link to the tuning event :

So true. I think every Honda and Acura has a sticker on it that says "steal me"

The stealing of the seats sounds like an inside job. If it isnt the dealership should have had security cameras to catch the thieves on.

I was told that the rear window was broken and from there they must have reached in and opened the doors... There are three Evos with missing seats up there...

Dude you gotta be kidding me! In the begining of February I had me car broken into (smashed window) and my recaros were stolen in my driveway, here in Manassas. I'm getting tired of this area. I just had my car picked up for repairs today after almost 3 weeks without my car and driving a 91 nissan sentra with bad power steering pump. Thinking about my car makes me tear up a bit.

But anyways did you get that black MR from stohlmans?

But I guess its time for me to get an alarm ! But anyways just for you guys (my DC area EVO bretheren) if you're looking for an alarm (if you don't already have one) let me know, I can get you this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1076628571293
for about $200 dollars.

As by what you see on the left here, I live in an area not so well known for auto vandalism, theft etc. Unless it's in the garage I am worried. I woke up in the night to look at it, I would check it regularly when I go out, I always look for the door dings in the parking lot even though I park WELL away from everyone else.

Yeah, I myself am very **** about door dings, my ex-girlfriend would always get so upset because I would park in the back of the parking lot whenever we went out. I've had the car for about a year now, I bought it with 13,500 miles. 6,100 miles later, happy to report no new dings than what I bought the car with.
