Fees to get my car registered with MD DMV

I just moved down to MD and thinking about getting my car registered. What kind of fees are involved? The DMV website is kind of confusing.
This is what i come up with:
Driver license: 45
Registration: 128
Emission: 14
Title: 23
Titling Tax: 640?

What else am i missing? Am i still responsible for titling tax even though the car is registered and brought from out of state? Is this a yearly fee or a one time deal? How often and strict is the emission? Thanks

If you call the MVA they will tell you. As long as you paid out of state sales tax, you should be fine here. The emissions testing is done a little later - you will get a mailer on when it is due. You need a state inspection 1st. That is done at gas stations, dealers, etc. Usually around $60. Inspection must be done before you even bother going to the MVA. Make sure you bring ALL the necessary documents for your license and the tags or you'll just be wasting your time (title, old registration, insurance, ID - I think 2 types). The MVA will give you the list. The rest of the fees sound right. Tags are good for 2 years. Emissions is every 2 years as well and consists of an OBDII computer check. So if you have any CEL on or stand alone ECU tuning, you will fail emissions. Plan on spending a good 4+ hours at the MVA waiting in line.... Welcome to MD.

Yeah you still have to pay tax on the value of the car in MD. It sux but you have
to. You have the correct info . though.

Are you Military? If so you can keep your CT
tags. No need to transfer your tags.

Like Shadow1 said, you also have to do a MD Inspection. If your car is modified you can catch hell on this !!!

PS: You won't need an emissions test until the car is 3years old . I think.
I think this is STOOOPID !!! Why should a 3 year old car need an emissions check?
It's a revenue generator for the state. No check engine light on,you pass. Give 'em
$14 and go. WTF?

Emissions testing is every 2 years unless the car is less than 2 years old. So if you have a 2006 model, MD will require emissions testing in 2008, 2010, etc.
I'm expecting an emissions notice any time now - my Evo is now 2 years old.
