I never trust shops, its pretty easy to learn and do it yourself. Maybe even see if another member is willing to help show you. I would but am in illinois till early June.
umm, i work at jerrys... the chassis code is a ct9a... which is the only evolution code that CAPS uses. call service and hope you speak to jeff. he knows what hes doing, lol. if you need to, call parts and ask for me, rob, and well take care of any problems you may have
also, if you take it anywhere else except mitsu, be ready to prove that you only used official diaqueen mitsu products bought at a mitsu dealer. if you need any warrenty work done on driveline parts they will send your fluid away for testing to see if its thiers, and if it isnt, bye bye warrenty

You can do it yourself with a jack and stands or even ramps. Search in the "How-To" section.
It's not hard, just takes some time. As I recall, the write-up was pretty detailed with pictures of the drain and fill plugs for each item. If you can change your oil, you can change the driveline fluids.
Here's a tip: Either get a pump for the fluids or do like I did and put a plastic hose on a funnel. You'll never get the oil in the fill holes otherwise.

I've purchased both Diaqueen and Super Diaqueen from Jerry's on several occasions with never an issue. Either you talked to the wrong person or didn't explain what you needed clearly enough.
Changing these fluids is easy. Some places charge $150+ to do this for you (it's basically a glorified oil change). Money best spent elsewhere...

jerrys is mod friendly to a degree... catback, minor bolt ons etc. anything extensive, turbo back, afc, flash, anything like that... they are gonna kill it... and jeff (service manager) will fight for you if he belives it is mitsus fault.
IMO, silver06 you should have gone through arbitration, and tried that angle. voiding your warrenty for different fluids isnt exactly cut and dry. its a very gray area.
the rep is the biggest pain in the butt here. he doesnt know a damn thing about evos mostly and isnt so much looking out for the customer, as hes more looking to save mitsu the warrenty dollars instead. problem is, hes the rep for (i believe) most of the east coast in terms of maryland, some pa, some de and va...

how much are the fluids at jerrys and what fluids do i need exactly?? i know its a dumb question but i wanna make sure i get it right and get the right fluids and weights
just called jerrys and talk to the service guys, theyll tell you a price and everything. it shouldnt be to much... i do mine for free so i couldnt tell ya off hand...
and silver, if arbitration failed you could have went to court. you only HAVE to do arbitration 1st because your contract for the car you buy says you do. if they tell you to pound sand thats when you get a lawyer and sue thier ***. but hey, whats done is done... let me know how the shep case holds up though!
