Seriously though, G Men look tough, But I gotta say I'm riding the Titans bandwagon for now in the absence of my Pats who don't suck as much as they could but suck none the less. BTW...I hate life now as well...Go Celtics!

The Giants, despite what the records say, are the BEST team in the NFL. They have the best O-Line as well. I don't view the Ravens with purple sunglasses, but you've got to admit not having their scheduled bye week and playing their 3rd game on the road caught up to them. That's why you almost never see it scheduled regularly in the season. Something had to give.

Flacco played a pretty good game all things considered. He is a rookie, but hasn't played like it. Most critics have praised his play and like what they see.

Ray got beat on a couple of plays. The big one was the run by Bradshaw (I think) for like 60 yards.

The Ravens got beat on both sides of the ball by the better team. They didn't lose because of any BS calls by the refs or get blown out like the Colts game. Hell, nobody had them at 6-4 at this point anyway, so I'm happy with them......

Btw, I'd love to see a Giants-Titans Super Bowl. The **** will prolly lose either to the Colts or the Steelers during the regular season simply because they may sit some of their starters or really won't give a **** at that point. Wouldn't it suck to go 16-0 and lose in their 1st playoff game?

yea it would suck, thus why im hoping we do in fact lose 1, lol. and i would love to see a giants titans superbowl...these teams (minus some talent on wr) are built almost the exact same...

and im pretty sure i never said the giants werent the best team in the nfl...they are the champs and until someone beats the champs (as in either knocks them out of the playoffs or beats them in the SB) they are the best team no matter what their record...they are the champs....

though ill be happy to have the 2nd best team in the nfl

i also said a few pages back, my team is not the patriots, nor do i want them to be... 16-0 would be awesome...but only if it ends with a SB championship....

if they ever do get there anytime soon, ill be sure to take some pics for u all cause i will def be there...price be damned!

What are the odds of two different 18-0 teams being beat by the same team in consecutive SBs? Would the universe implode if this happened?

man, are the vy jokes old for u yet? the jury is still out on him. hell be the starter next year (fish already has said that) and hopefully will have learned something from sitting behind collins... this franchise has a pretty good history of drafting some pretty decent qbs..so to pick on 1 who may or may not still work out is pretty weak sauce.... especially because he isnt loosing us games this year...

the rats on the other hand have an awesome talent of finding pretty much the worse qbs that can be drafted and draft them. or find out of the FA bin... flacco may or may not be the real deal, again jury out, same as its out on VY...

nice little quote from the tennessean...

It's that time of year, when the NFL starts sending out playoff scenarios.

But at no time since the Titans have been in Nashville has one been sent out before Week 12 with a chance for them to clinch a spot -- until today.

Yes, the 10-0 Titans could clinch a playoff spot this weekend if the following happens. This is according to an NFL release:

TEN win + MIA loss or tie + BAL loss or tie + PIT loss.

The Titans, of course, play the Jets. (The Titans are a 6-point favorite)

The Dolphins are a 2 1/2 point favorite over New England in a game that will be played in Miami.

The Ravens are at home, and a 2 point favorite over Philadelphia.

The Steelers, meanwhile, are a 10-point favorite on Thursday night at home vs. the Bengals.

It's a long shot for the Titans to clinch this weekend, but stranger things have happened. And in reality, it's just a matter of time anyway.

Reach Jim Wyatt at 259-8015 or jwyatt@tennessean.com

as much as i hate to do it, because i want pitt to win the division and someone to knock the rats out, i have to root for the bengals i predict their chance of winning at 1%

Horrible?

Matt Ryan was the Ravens' original choice, but they would have given up too much to go get him on draft day, so they settled on Flacco. I've got no problem with the decision. He's laid back, doesn't get flustered, and learns from his mistakes. Plus, he's got a great arm.

No, he's not as good as Matt Ryan, but he's definitely NOT horrible.......

^^ ++1 some of you can get rediculous with your statements as well. and if flacco keeps progressing like he is im not so sure matt ryan is any better. he just has a better recieving group to throw to.

ok ok ill let the VY jokes go till he plays again. but i still think hes garbage. time will tell on him and flacco. flacco is progressing well and learning every game. hes poised, calm in the pocket, can run like mike vick for his size(lets keep the dog jokes out of this), and has a great arm. he has only made a bad few decisions this season and hasnt lost a game for us like past qb's have. its been our defense and stupid penalties. i still think we will go 10-6 if not 11-5. but hey im always optimistic.
