Tom Brady. I think hes a good quarterback but he does have a great team surrounding him. Although i dont like him or his attitude im not celebrating he got hurt. I just always want him to get popped real good every game, not injured.

I want to see the raiders tonight with all the new players.

Dude, I don't know if you know this but in a far away galaxy many years ago (before 01) The Pats were terrible. I watched them suck and the bears clobber us in the bowl and make us look pretty much foolish even being there. I did'nt even know crying about getting beat up on was a possibility outside sewing circles. The thought about blaming the opponent because Yes, You suck just that bad to be embarassed on the field is pretty pathetic. This is a man's game.

You may be right about Cassel...Well, I know your right. But, He's the guy and we'll go where he takes us. If there's any silver lining... We still got some talent, If Cassel does'nt give games away I won't blame him whatever happens. We'll just have to see what the future holds for the year, I love the NFL

Totally agree... All Cassel has to do is not lose games, and they will still be in most games. As if the Patriots didn't need any more motivation after losing the SB, now they have alot more to proove... that being that their team doesn't revolve around Brady (even though I believe it sort of does, haha!)

Last time I checked everyone's getting paid. And every player's playing for their livelyhood. I see no sportsmanship in degrating your game or losing reps to appease teams that are junk. Fans pay to see their teams succeed, Their players give it everything they have and for entertainment. Not playing down to others because it's the PC fad.

The point I'm making about years ago is the experience I have with my team getting romped and nobody crying...OH...They're so bad, It's mean that we get blown out consistantly. Can't we tell the other team it's bad sportsmanship to beat the daylights out of us.

Where do you see consistently getting blown out? Losing, yeah.....but not blowouts. http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule?te...seasonType=REG

I've gone back from 1984 until 2000 and checked the Patriots' schedule and they have maybe 10 blowouts against them that total time?!?

Thanks for the link and the fond memories of days gone by. I don't really know where the 10 games total comes from. Just take 87 thru 90, The Pats lost a total of 12 games by 21 or more. You lose by 21 + points and I consider that to be a blow out. I also don't remember anyone complaining that the Bears did'nt take their starters out when they killed us in the bowl by 36...>Cause it would have been silly then just as it's silly now.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on my first statement you left out of your quote. If everyone is getting paid, With revenue collected from fans why does anyone deserve to have pity taken on them because their orginization can't put a respectable product on the field. As I'm sure you are aware there are no guaranteed contracts in Football ( Note I did'nt say no guaranteed money ), You can be cut at any time. As a player and a coach is'nt it owed to the people who they support financially to make sure they show their value at all times and maximize that potential value. Why do those players owe it to play down to others who can't compete? Are the fans being cheated out if their coach decides to pull the starters in the 3rd because their blowing out an opponent. I feel yes, I have watched my season ticket prices climb to levels I would never have believed, I want the best return on that possible. If that means individual records, bowls ...whatever.

If a team is mismanaged or their players don't play with heart, They deserved to be shown for what they are. Just because your getting blown out in the 3rd and are ready to throw the towel in, Don't expect your opponent to do the same. Not with money, records and prestige on the line.

If I am in the position where my team is getting blown out regularly, I'm not going to blame the teams that I'm getting worked by. I'm going to blame my Management, coaches and players.

I personally think there is honor in sports and most teams abide by that. Its called sportsmanship....have you played competitive sports before and had a team run up the score? It sucks and you get pissed....Remember, the guys getting their asses kicked don't like it either and could take a cheap shot!

I'm a Ravens fan obviously, but last year our bitter rivals the Steelers whooped our asses. The game was over at halftime (35-7), but the Steelers played their backups the second half, which IMO, was honorable on their part.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree on this subject.

Well, it was good to see the Skins play a balanced game and beat the Saints. Next time you decide to taunt a team when you're about to score a touchdown, be sure you are going to win the game Reggie Bush you douche.

As far as Cassel goes:
16/23 165 yds QB Rating 90 No picks No TD's

He certainly did'nt lose us the game. Which is what he needs to do to get us into the 8+ win territory. Lamonte Jordan had a great second half rushing the ball, Think he got around 65 yds in the 2nd half. And as usual the Defense was pretty stout.

I've still got my tissues ready for when teams start running up the score on us.

PS The bills will be better than the Jets this year....

And that whole story, Yes I've played competitive sports on a serious level, Yes I've had teams run up the score, No, I've never taken a cheap shot because of it. The difference, These guys are pro's getting paid by the dollars I feed into the orginization. Honor is giving it everything you have, every play regardless of score where I come from.
