You know I hear the "pats were one of the greatest" blah blah but to tell you the truth as a lifetime Pats season ticket holder they did'nt get it done when they had to. They got beat up by a team that played better than them on that day and that's what I remember. I don't care about records, undefeated...whatever, I care about Bowl titles and they did'nt get it done.

I hope that the team and coach Bellicheck do a better job of maintaining the goal...To win the bowl. It's going to be a fun year

He may be, The hit looked pretty gnarly. I'm not going to biatch about the enjoyment your getting from a potentially career threatening injury to the leauges best player. He's beat most that dislike him. Injury's happen in this game. It was an injury to long time starter Drew Bledsoe that got Tom Brady his starting Job, They won the bowl that season. The Pats will still win alot of games this year but not to the standards us fans in New England are used to.

Yeh, you're right. I really wish he wouldn't have gotten hurt, also..... but that's just because I truly enjoyed the frustration on his face in the superbowl. I thought it was going to be a superbowl-less year for the patriorts, so I was looking forward to seeing that look again, haha! Now they have no shot without Brady.

Wow...I hat the Pats as much as the next guy........but............to cheer a bad injury on anyone is just crapy.

Hopefully this isn't career ending...he will probably have a long road ahead of rehap which sucks for any athlete.

Well, my Skins looked putrid on Thursday. The Cowboys, Giants and Eagles all looked pretty good. It's going to be a long year here in DC.

(since I dont have a ton of pro comments) Whew Notre Dame squeaked it out, I was getting worried. Next couple weeks will be tough though.

I was pulling for Ohio to upset Ohio State, no such luck. USC is going to pounce OSU...

+1 Looks like we might actually have a good QB this year. The whole team really looked awesome yesterday, despite the couple of injured players.

I think that people are tired of hearing about Tom Brady and aren't necessarily cheering that he got hurt, but rather that New England has to deal with an injury to a star player. Just about every team in the NFL has had an injury to their marquis player(s), but now a little Karma is kicking in....Peyton being hurt is OK by me because it evens the playing field in the AFC....

Honestly though, you'd think Jesus himself died with the way the media is covering this. Making comments like "The NFL NEEDS Tom Brady!!" Give me a ****ing break....

I could really give two ***** what prople think of Tom Brady or the Pats in general. If Tom being hurt get's peoples rocks off...Great. For the past years Pats fans have listened to whining from all over the NFL. I for one am over it. I will still be at every home game and I'll still have no voice the Mon after.

Call me nutso but I still think sans TB the Pats are still better then most teams in the NFL Including the Jets.

All I'm saying about the two jabrones that yucked it up about Tom's injury...Well, I'll just say I never routed or was happy when Peyton was hurt in the offseason and I knew the season would be better with both of those guys in the leauge playing at the best level in the NFL. I guess that comes with having a team that has a rivalry and is year after year at the top such as we were with the Colts.
