You must not remember the Red Sox coming back from 3 games down and on the verge of being swept to beat the Yankees in the ALCS. It was a huge upset no doubt and much respect goes out to the Giants.

people dont give the patriots the credit they deserve now. since they lost 1 game, its like people forgot about there 18 in a row, they've also gone 21 in a row between 2 years a year or two ago... the patriots are a dynasty and they are one of the best teams ever. this year they broke all the scoring records and offensive things, TD record for brady, receiving record for moss.

people need to respect one of the best teams ever, if not the best offense ever.

there defense is getting older and couldnt make a stop when it mattered. but this years team was top 5 in nfl history IMO.

They are a footnote now.......they choked big time on the biggest stage in American sports. What matters most is winning the Super Bowl.

I agree that they are the greatest team of the 2000's. But this year, they went 18-1. That "1" is a big loss.....

Let me ask you this: Would rather have what happened or would rather they went 14-2 in the regular season but won the Super Bowl?

F the regular season. It's what you do in the post season that counts and the Pats did'nt get it done.

This coming from a guy that has been at every Pats home game for almost 10 years. It is what it is.

Screw the Giants. It was a good game but if they played another game right after the last super bowl they would not win.

Just messing with you zbomb, the pats have a great team no doubt but I look at the like I do the buckeyes, they excel during the regular season but when it counts they can't hold it together. The Giants came ready to play you gotta give them that and unlike the pats they didn't get cocky and expect to win, they came to play

Go Ravens!! I hope Flacco learns fast cause last night he was sucko. He is a rook though. We'll see, new coach, no great quaterback and a sketchy offensive line. At least the defense still looks pretty good. It felt good to at least beat the pats last night (barely), even though it was a practice game basically.
