All right, now, I don't want them to gain *another yard!* * You blitz...all...night!* If they cross the line of scrimmage, I'm gonna take every last one of you out! You make sure they remember, *forever*, the night they played the Titans!

With all due respect, uh, you demanded more of us. You demanded perfection. Now, I ain't saying that I'm perfect, 'cause I'm not. And I ain't gonna never be. None of us are. But we have won every single game we have played till now. So this team is perfect. We stepped out on that field that way tonight.

Everywhere we go -Everywhere we go-, people wanna know -people wanna know-, who we are -who we are-, so we tell them -so we tell them- We Are The Titans! -We Are The Titans!- The Mighty Mighty Titans! -The Mighty Mighty Titans!...

o gee, typical ravens fans... ***** moan whine and complain about how the refs screwed you out of the game for the millionth time... yea, there were some bad calls.. even to my beady eyes sitting in section 500... but ya know what... THE RAVENS DID NOT STOP 40 YEAR OLD KERRY COLLINS from leading a game winning drive......... enjoy having the #1 defense in...YARDAGE. we shall enjoy having the #1 defense in POINTS ALLOWED. and as far as im concered points allowed is the only stat that f****ing matters because thats HOW YOU WIN THE GAME...

so sit there and lick your wounds, eat some crow, "drink a natty boh hun", and convince yourself the rats didnt choke in the pressure, that ray lewis didnt get his ankles broke at least twice, that you are going to the playoffs, that you can beat the colts.... ya know what, if you somehow convice yourself of all that ratbird fans, gimme some of whatever your f****ing smoking so i can believe my team is going perfect like the patriots.....

Fear the Ravens...NEVERMORE!

You're absolutely right....the D couldn't step up, but you still haven't addressed the bad play call. How can a defender, in this case Suggs, be flagged on a dead play? If the refs were running the game like they're supposed to, Suggs never makes it to Collins and you guys are 3rd and long!!

Look, I honestly thought the Ravens were gonna lose this game, but I'd also like to see a fairly called game! I think that's the problem I have with it the refs; they make the call, but do not stop the play quick enough and then flag Suggs on a iffy 'roughing the passer'.

I think honestly, man to man, you would be a little pissed if the roles were reversed and the **** got screwed out of a 3-and-out deep in the opponents end with a lead! But hey, you might be too much of a homer to see what I'm saying.......

Suggs’ infraction happened after Titans left tackle Michael Roos was caught for a false start, which ruled the play dead. Since action continued after the whistle, however, the penalty could still be considered.

“I thought it was a dead-ball foul, and you stop the play and move on,” stated a puzzled Mason. “I guess that wasn’t the case.”

“If it had been anything other than a personal foul, we would have disregarded a hold or anything else,” said referee Bill Carollo. “But a 15-yard penalty – coupled with a false start – it’s called a ‘five and 15,’ which means the five-yard penalty is ignored and only the 15-yard penalty is enforced from the previous spot.”
so the refs made the right call... they followed the rule book. you are not allowed to touch an opposing qbs head or knock them down when they DO NOT HAVE the ball anymore. regardless of if u were going to block it or not, regardless of how light or lame the hit was or wasnt. or alternativly you can blame your team for PLAYING THROUGH THE WHISTLE....

keep complaing about the rules being called right... jesus christ...and im the homer?

I highlighted what you used as a reference....."could" is a big word for refs in the NFL!

The simple fact is the Ravens D failed to stop the **** on their final drive of the game and they scored.......

It's been tough being a fan. Ever since SuperBowl 37 (which I attended) we have been going down hill. This last week was extremely embarrassing We do have a young team and I see improvement believe it or not. The true measure of a fan is how you support your team through adversity. Yeah it's easy when your winning. Win, lose or tie, RAIDER for life till I die!

Like the way you roll man!!^^ Never been a fan of the raidaaass but you got the right attitude.

As far as my Pats... A W is a W. Was'nt particularly pretty but hey. Big game against SD next week on the road, should be a good test.

I gotta say even though TB is out I am having alot of fun watching the NFL this year. Good teams are losing, bad teams winning, nobody's safe.
The Skins are no Joke...I may be switching my SB pick from the NFC pretty soon if they can keep it up.

Ain't that the truth. My beloved Dolphins have been a bumbling inept joke of a team for some years now, but there's finally some hope. Love how physical and tough they're becoming.

You need Al Davis to keel over ASAP.

hey 4g63... since you wanted to emphasize my direct quote from the ap article as to the word "could"...here is the explination straight from the ref... now stop *****ing about the call...

REFEREE BILL CAROLLO

(On why the false start didn’t end the play on the Suggs personal foul penalty)

“On the play with about five minutes left, we had a false start on the offensive tackle number 71 [Michael Roos]. It was right at the snap. We tried to shut it down and blow the whistle. But the players didn’t hear the whistle, and they continued the play. 55 [Terrell Suggs] came in and hit the quarterback on the side of the helmet. If it had been anything other than a personal foul, we would have disregarded a hold or anything else. But a 15-yard penalty – coupled with a false start – it’s called a ‘five and 15,’ which means the five-yard penalty is ignored and only the 15-yard penalty is enforced from the previous spot. So we went 15 yards from the previous spot, and of course that carries a first down.”

(On the interpretation of LB Terrell Suggs roughing the passer penalty)

“He got him on the side of the helmet, the right side of the quarterback’s helmet. We’re blowing the whistle, blowing the whistle. He may not have heard that – and we’re going to give him that – but he still can’t hit the quarterback on the helmet.”

(On who made the roughing the passer call)

“That was the referee. That was myself.”
