What does where he played college have to do with anything? Ben Roethlisberger went to Miami of Ohio and Matt Leinert went to USC....who would you rather have? That's what I thought!

Hell, Rich Gannon went to Delaware, and he wasn't a bad QB at all!

You sound like those stupid, toothless Steeler "fans" who always revert to talking about 52. Ray "Murderer" Lewis was acquitted(sp) of all charges. If you wanna blame him for his poor choice of friends, OK. But Vince "Wonderlic" Young is a mental midget!! He's got serious mental issues!! Fisher never wanted to draft him because EVERYONE knew he was an idiot, but the **** owner wanted to stick it to the town of Houston!!

Hey Evolved, are you willing to bet that, barring an injury, Vince Young doesn't touch the field the rest of the year, of ever? Or do the **** keep him around because of his "sheer talent"?
considering his mental state will never been released due to privacy rights laws, then we can only assume his has slight mental issues. and ray lewis was caught in a limo with blood and a knife... he should be in jail just like any other POS who doesnt have money... but he did have money so he not in jail..

and vinces' score was never officially released, and the 2nd score was a 20 something... so lets not just jump on assumptions and thoughts shall we?

vince will be back, at a minimum next year. collins is a free agent and has said he doesnt want to come back as a backup. he will also touch the field this year is collins looses on game, as told from fischer to anyone who will listen. not to mention, hes under contract through 2011, lol... so there going to feed his *** the rock no matter what! and he has the talent, just makes some dumb decisions...seem to remember a few ravens QBs (veterans and rookies) that possess sheer talent and make dumb mistakes....

Well, the big difference is this... Say what you want about Miami of Ohio... It's an NCAA Div 1-A school. Ben set school records, won a conf championship, and threw for over 3,000 yards each year. 4,xxx something in his final season.

Joe Flacco had his shot at Div 1-A football. He backed up Tyler Palko at Pitt. Then he went to Delaware. Joe Flacco had only one good year and played for a Div 1-AA school. They play teams like Villanova, William and Mary, lol. And his team ended up finishing near the middle each year.

I'm not gonna trash the guy because I'm sure he'll be a decent QB one day. But you guys think he's gonna be the next Peyton Manning.

And don't gimme the crap about Big Ben either. He's not the best in the league. But... there aren't too many better than he is. Plus, he knows how to win and has proven it. He has a ring to show for it.

He doesn't have that college big game experience- he hasn't really seen any pressure. He wasn't consistent on Monday night, and the ravens just aren't deep enough to make up for it. like the game said (thanks for the shift knob man!) he'll prob. be good some day, but you can only play the browns and bengals so many times in a season. you can throw it back at me later, but i've got the ravens at best 8-8 this season.

My point to both of you was that where you went to college has nothing to do with how you'll be as a NFL QB.....Flacco is a rook and I expect him to screw up and to be honest, I'd be OK with 8-8, as long as he makes strides each week. And no, I don't think Flacco is the next Peyton or Eli Manning.....but he just has a calm demeanor on the field, even after he screws up......

OK, we'll keep it on your terms so you're happy!! Numerous scouts questioned his brain power coming out of college. I can show you them if you'd like....or maybe his mom will call me complaining I'm putting her son down!!

Who? Steve McNair? Chris Redman? Stoney Case?

The McNair deal was a waste of money and there were plenty of signs during the '06 season that he was washed up......

kills me to root for a division rival, but my hatred for the ravens and all thier bandwagon fans (and the ones that think they are the best thing since sliced bread) makes me.... o well... how many games back are you?? 3? damn, the way you guys have played this game, last week and the choke job against the sqeelers, im guessing miami might just hand you your ***!

have fun...

im outa here till the next time we play each other...
