I'm not disagreeing that the orriginal correct call should have been a TD. What I'm wondering is on what basis was the ruling on the field overturned ? It has to be conclusive evidence to change the call on the field. How did ref's see that ? I've seen the slowmo replay 20 times and see no CONCLUSIVE evidence as to why the ruling on the field was changed. The play was that close.

I don't particularly like either of the teams we're talking about BTW.

 

Ravens game was depressing, another lead lost at the end of the game. I can't blame the loss on anyone but the Ravens. It might of gone different without the bad calls but the fact remains that they just didn't get it done. Now enough with the whah burgers and french cries. We're still in the hunt!!

 

Imagine that!!! 2 Stooler fans think it was a TD but neutral football fans think it wasn't.......and I guess you forgot the phantom 1st down you guys got that Harbaugh challenged before the half that WASN'T A FIRST DOWN!!! That led to 3 points for you guys. There's a penalty during EVERY play btw, on BOTH teams in every NFL game......

Thats kind of been my argument. Let the Stoolers win it or tie it on the field. Give the Ravens a chance to stop them or try to block the field goal......thats how the game should end, not by an "iffy" overturn on the field.

I'll make a prediction that the Stoolers beat the Titans easily (no Haynesworth = no win) which means they lose home field advantage to the Stoolers.

The Ravens will probably lose to the Cowboys. Not that I'm not rooting for them, but I think they have too much offensively for our D to handle*. Plus, their D is getting tougher late in the season and Flacco has had bad games against good defenses.

*- The only way I see the Ravens winning is if they get to Romo early and often, and perhaps getting him out of the game since he has an injured back......or establishing the running game to keep their O off the field.

 

Ravens have their work cut out. I predict a similar outcome to the Indy game. I can't see this game being close.
