Ok well i recently recieved a repair order for my tint being to dark ( 20% ) and was wondering if i only had to take off the front tint on my driver and pass. front..... b/c i herd the back can be as dark as you want..... is this true b/c tomarrow i am taking it off but if i only have to take off the front thats all im goign to take off and get 35% sence thats the states legal %..... and this is in Maryland... anyones help would be greatly appreciated........

not true at all trust me ive had about 7 tickets for tints...i think that rule is only on SUVS

 

Yeah, you'd have to take it off all around... including the back windshield. That really sucks man. Where in Maryland did this happen? I'd like to avoid where ever that is. For me, if I see a cop cruising near me... i tend to put all my windows down Hey, also ask your tinter if they can hook you up with some kind of deal to do this. Some tinters are actually cool about it. Perhaps give you a deal to replace it.

 

in jersey back 3 can be as dark as you want
i think same goes for most areas, prob same in MD, i got a ticket last week for tints, but mine are 5% all around :-)..i have no plans of takin it off, if i do, it will be 35% in front, back stays at 5 %
