Can't say that I have seen a place that does hand washes since I was last out west.
There are small detailing shops that'll do the wash wax thing for ya....but they aren't cheap!
I'm glad that my apartment has a car washing facility...and that I have a garage to store my cleaned cars in when those lil thunderstorms come by.

The reason I asked and didn't go straight to the book (or the Internet right here) is because most of the time locals know the best places. If you moved to Cali, I would tell you which ones were better than others (something the phone book can't do). In any event, I might just ask some dude in town if I can pay him some money and borrow his hose and do it myself... Next thing you know, you can't even get hookers here...
I wash my bmw and evo once a week at LEAST! I wax it every other week.. thats the only way to keep it clean! I love my car and the way it shines
