Oh I know. I am by no means a "street racer".

But sometimes every now and then...

^^^carefull, we dont want this thread deleted because you mentioned street racing.

I kind of figured that was the reason. I still find it funny that so many other things can be said that imply things that are much worse than street racing and the threads don’t get deleted.

This site has more rules and policies than most government, or corporate offices...lol

It's because the mods get around to things randomly, and are in random different moods. Sometimes they let it slide, and even contribute, sometimes they delete the thread, sometimes they close it and comment on why they closed it (the last is obviously very rare). Regardless, I will say that EvoM is a whole lot less strict than they used to be.

^^^^lol, wow. I wonder what it used to be like.

I often times have no idea why it is that the OT area can get away with what they do.

I remember seeing all sorts of NWS stuff there, and then all of a sudden it stopped. Of course I agree with that, because this site does get visited by younger kids. There is still a lot of other stuff that slides.

I posted the thread...I own the M3....and got this PM

Dear c5low13,

You have received a warning at evolutionm.net.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh....php?p=6219311

Reason:
-------
Posting Street Racing Content

There is no street racing content allowed whatsoever on this forum. One minute you say you are going north on 29, and then the next you are somehow on a closed road.

Again, street racing content is not allowed.

This is a warning worth ZERO points.

Well I guess welcome to EvoM, sri your only post here was deleted.

We should come up with a code word for street racing. How about carnival party, or something like that?

lol

Just to play devils advocate here... it's probably best that they do this. I have already heard of dealerships printing EvoM postings to show Evo owners reasons why they're voiding their warranties. It's not likely that any law enforcement agency would be stupid enough to try to use anything here to initially indite someone, but I suppose a stretch of the imagination could see a prosecutor using this as a sort of confession to build proof of a pattern of behavior. The far far more likely explanation, condoning street racing on here would bring on unwanted negative attention from those who may or may not be capable of applying pressure to the site staff and mods. Then, there's banning it on general principle...

Very good points! I wont argue any of that. This was mainly a thread just to throw out my opinion about the very strict rules here at EvoM. I think that sometimes they are very rigid.

I have a hard time understanding why a street racing thread will be closed, or deleted, yet a thread in Off Topic discussing homosexual bu%& sex, or any other number of questionable topics is allowed to go and on.
