I think Al was pissed cause Diesel stated his opinion about Pruven, which shouldn't be a crime. Al's reasoning was that since he uses Pruven's dyno to tune cars, he didn't want to tune someone's car who didn't like Pruven. But then again, not like the planned reflash session was going to be held at Pruven anyway, so I don't see what the big deal is...

I don't agree with Al's decision, but to each his own...

I can't say I disagree with someone refusing to provide service to someone who has said bad things about them or someone they know.

At any rate, we need 1 more for this to happen and don't have too much time to make it happen.

Whatever happened with Chris in HB? Apursell mentioned he was interested?

Don't direct your anger towards me. You should direct it toward yourself and your dirty mouth which apparently opens too often for your own good.
you're a joke...

Calm down everyone. Lets stay on the topic of the Evo dyno day. We don't need this to turn into a bash session. If you want to discuss unrelated personal problems please start a thread about it elsewhere.

There has to be one more out there for the Dynoflash!

If we don't get 5, will Al come?

Oh yeah, apursell, how do you like the Outlander? Did you see they bumped HP for 2004? ( 160hp now)

$539 seems pretty damned steep to me.... didn't they do some for $250-$300 recently? I think they were called "beta test" or something, but why not just stick with the $300 and do 15 cars instead of $539 and 5 cars...??

If there is enough interest I'll try and get him to come down in the morning on the 29th so that we won't tie up the dyno for all the people that want just power runs. So the first person to do a reflash might have to be here around 9 or 10 AM. Lets see if we can get 5 people then I'll call Dynoflash again and set everything up to sure.

Dynaflash

I just got off the phone with Dynoflash and we are all set up for the 29th, however it apears that the reflashing is going to use the dyno all day. Thus, we will not be offering baselines on the 29th. The 29th will be for reflashes only. If you are one of the five people who signed up or you want to get on the list, let me know what kind of mods you have and when you can be here from 10Am on. Dynoflash requires a deposit from each of you, totaling $200 per reflash. If you are going to get a reflash this is mandatory. If I don't get the deposits than he won't be here to do the reflashes. If we don't get enough deposits(5 at least) then I will send the checks back so please include a return adress. I need each person to email me with the times that you can be here and tell me what mods you have so I can set the schedule up right. We can still take a few more if anybody else wants to get in on the action.

I'll send you my $200 deposit check tomorrow. If it helped the schedule, I could do mine on the 28th. I guess it depends on Al's plans. If he was planning on driving down the day before maybe it could happen - otherwise the event has become a reflash day instead of a general dyno day.

PS.. who does the check get made out to? Agile or Dynoflash?

I thought Dynoflash was done on the road, not on the dyno? I know the dyno is used to do pre-flash and post-flash measurements, but all day ??

Wow, you guys speak out on this one. I mean, I still want my flash, but I don't want to ruin the day for everyone that was heading out.

I've been interested in this flash for a while, but this isn't the "beenwaiting4evo's" dyno day, it's DCEvoClub's dyno day.

Well, the amount of people interested has been right at 5. The more we get, I'm thinking the less it will cost, but I don't see the price dropping by much. You have to take into account that the price you're paying is not only for the flash by a knowledgable tuner, but for the dyno time.

There's also a $295 (I think) flash that is done through the mail that will yeild an improvement, but not as much as the flash we're getting by Al himself. Results vary, but I think the cheaper flash is 10-15whp, the more expensive one is 20-30.
