looking for a good tuner place here in md

I live in crofton md looking for a good tuner place. I found one place of rt 1 near bel air agile automotive they seem to be real good. But they do specialize in sti's and I have a evo x they can do work but maybe they is someone around here that specializes in evo's

You're gonna get alot of opinions on this one. Since I've been out here I've seen a lot of what people called "good tunes" and most weren't so good. The ones that stood out as quality were the work of CBRD. I would take your X there if it were mine and I wanted it done in front of me. If you happen to be a little handy, and by handy I me able to follow directions and push a button, you could consider a remote tune. For that I'd go to Aaron at English racing or Tom at VRSF. Aaron I know from experience is one of, if not the best at what he does (boob ogling while drunk and tuning). I've seen toms work and the results, as well as been impressed by his customer service. There might be more that I'm unaware of, but those are the only folks I'd let touch my ecu.

Let me know if we can help-

We have an in-house Mustang AWD dyno/cell- and can tune the X's via flash or cobb-

We also have a fully in house developed product line for the evo X- so our passion goes beyond just tuning- we like to supply turn key solutions-

Cheers

CB

Agile IS good...Hill, their tuner, LOVES the Cobb (they are the only authorized Cobb dealer in Maryland....that statement from Cobb says alot). Andrewtech is also very good and is Agile's competition. I'd personally rather go to Andrewtech (they are real tight with TurboXS guys and a few other big names) but Agile is better with Cobb. I'm new to Mitsus so I don't have any experience with CBRD, but Andrewtech and Agile BOTH tune Evos and Subys and both have near god-like status among the local Subaru crowd and on Nasioc. That should count for something.

I have to go with the majority...CBRD is your best bet in that area!

i only like to recommend shops that I have had direct experience with. in the tri-state area there is only two shops I would direct people too: CBRD and Atlantic Motorsports. Chard at CBRD, or Cory at Atlantic will both take very good care of you and your car. GL with your search

I would not comment on a shop that I have no experience with, CBRD is the only shop I know.

I can tell you from experience that CBRD does right by everybody that walks in and makes sure you walk out satisfied.

Its one of those places that people have no problem driving 2-5 hours, so that they can feel nothing was overlooked. Plus it helps that they take that same care into the products they produce.

Sidenote: Do not be discouraged if communication can be a little slower. Chad, who commented on this thread, is the one that deals with everybody, and I am everybody that has work done or buys products from his shop. The name he has made for himself, is something he takes very seriously.

UCS in beltsville. Greg tuned my car, did an excellent job and he works on nothing but evo's. He is also much more affordable and i believe he is on this forum as pharmecis as he is on c3g.

CBRD is my vote as well.

Just moved to Wheaton so it puts me a little further than Crofton (I just moved from there) but worth the drive.

Speaking of which, Chad I need to stop up soon for my 80k service... I'll call you next week.
