Question Insane Blue Evo Owner In DE - On Here?

I had an "encounter" with a blue Evo on Friday at around 4:30 in the afternoon on Rt.13 in DE. He had a DE vanity plate with the name of his car on it. I wouldn't mind talking to this guy or seeing if anyone on here knows him.

For more info, see this post.

Yes, yes I do. Seeing as how it was my wives car.... I guess it kind of makes sense, doesn't it?

Lets not go down this road. I could always say you drive a $15,000 grocery getter with $15,000 in factory mods. I did not come over here to start a flame war. Yes, I am fully aware that the Evo has my car beat in every area of performance out there. That being said, when the day is all done, I can still go home and molest my nice dash board.

I've only seen one blue Evo around, but I don't know who owns it. Saw it on 273 near 95. I live a few miles north of you, off 896. I had a 2001 GTI 1.8T and a 2001 S4 before buying my Evo. The 1.8T got me hooked on turbos. Mine was making about 240hp. I was considering the APR Stage 3, but it was a little pricey.

My Evo has a Vishnu Stage 1 with HKS cams. It made 320whp on the dyno yesterday. I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can take off the snow tires. That's one thing that does suck about Delaware.

Hmmm, I thought for sure someone would know him.

The 1.8t is not a bad little engine but like one poster said, the Stage 3 it a bit $$$$ and then you have the serious traction issues to worry about. Makes for a great highway assassin but that is about it IMO.

So what were you guys running stock? How about now? Anyone heading up to Cecil when it opens?

I should be down there sometime in March when it opens up. I want to make a few passes before we lose this brutally cold weather.

If you really want to find that guy, swing by the Exxon on Route 4 (Intersection of Rt 7 and Rt 4)

He either works there, or lives across the street because he parks in their parking lot.
