the "pre-registeration fee" that u are talking about pays for all the events for this season and doesnt include the learning curve. I think u signed up for the wrong thing. E-mail them and find out.

The Learning Curve only costs $100.

Correct. There was a glitch in the paypal setup so that people were getting charged double. I got an email from Rick and a refund last night. The problem should be solved for people who want to register.

evo8usa:

My girlfriend's signing up too. I think I might just bring the WRX on the first day and both the wrx and the evo on the second day. I have both cars listed in my profile for the season.

I would bring bring the EVO too. An EVO RS and a WRX wagon couldn't react more differently on track. Just ask Mr. Tucker, he went from mid pack in the wagon to up front in the EVO, and the whole point is to learn how to drive your car.

Just my 2 cents.

You're completely correct, but I really want to take the wrx out in a non-competitive
environment and slide it around a little bit.

Who is Mr. Tucker?

18 out 100 places are taken.

The courses will most likely look the same as last year and
year before.. and year before... etc...........

so I guess if somebody is looking for a bit of help...
it is not a huge help, but you can see what you are getting into

1st day - you will drive on those

http://www.scca-chicago.com/solo/200...curve_map2.pdf

2nd day - you will drive on that

GOOD times, I took this school in 2002. I did learn a "few" things since then.
My driving did improve a lot, as I gained a lot of friends and got to **** of some people Co-driving Evo's is dangerous

- evo8usa - you are on the list for Instructors/workers

- donour - WRX will take some work to make it rotate, but it makes sense to bring it for the 1st event. 56psi rear tire pressure is a start

Thanks Hubert.

Are you or your brother going to be at the Auto Show this weekend?

I know that show inside and out now.

I will be there from 10 AM - 6:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday if anyone has any questions.
