If you like that...you should check out www.satcarracing.com....actual wheel to wheel competition without worrying about dinging your car. Check it out...

IMHO
The problems I see with http://www.satcarracing.com
#1.
" The passing zones are the only places on the track where any front/rear overlap between cars
will be permitted. All other sections of the track must be run single file with no permitted overlap. "
this makes for no REAL racing.
It is closer to a Track Day with a bonus of counting the laps.
"Wheel to wheel" stands only as a term to cars beeing on the track at the
same time as you.
#2.
Once you are on a Track, even if there is no other cars, you are looking
at possible demage to the car, much greater then dings, scratches from the cones.
Spinning off on the track Vs. cones, spins on AutoX are 2 different things.
#3.
Without a roll bar or cage I wouldn't think of racing on track.
It is a question of time before something happends.
#4.
I think for the $$ you can get much more from a Solo 1
or a regular Track Day with your friends.
Playing catch with a friend is about as much racing as what I am getting from the rules. If you want to Wheel To wheel, look at bigger clubs, roughly
for the same money you can race with overtaking into/at/out of the corners
without passing zones.. etc.... (you need car with a cage)
- I dunno, take it how you want. This is how I see it,
after going to track for past 3 years.

While I'm here, thanks to Bart and Hubert for an excellent event. We (all the students) had a great time.
