How was the display at the Detroit Auto Show? I am going to the Chicago show next week. What Evo was on display? MR, RS or regular Evo?

 

didnt go to the new auto show yet but i went to world of wheels in chitown on sunday. some bad *** cars there. a few imports but only one, a WRX, worth mentioning, the rest were ricers. you dont go to world or wheels for imports though you go for muscle. they had a few nice GTO judges, a GSX, some nice 60-70s z28s and a lot of coupes/roadsters. they had that 69 i think it was barracuda owned by joe rogan that was on rides a while back. that thing is sweet buy my favorite car there was a 65 rustang that looked like the one in gone in 60 seconds. the paint on those old cars is phenomenal. looks like glass. worth the 15 bucks.

 

They had an MR on display. The whole display seemed kinda low key compared to all the others.

 

They really don't need a big display b/c the car sells itself.

 

They can't afford a big display

 

I was heading north on Lakeshore Drive Friday morning and I saw a car carrier full of with an Evo on the back. I noticed it at the last minute and I couldn't tell if it was an MR or not. They are loading cars into McCormick place for the auto show next week. I guess there will be a red Evo this year. Last year it was BBY.

 

yah i plan on going to the autoshow too.. I went to WofW and it wasn't bad... worth the look .. some very nice cars! .. When is everyone else going to the show???

 

I am working the SCCA booth on both Saturdays and Sundays until 6:15 PM.

 

I'm prolly going to go sometime during the week as I'm pretty busy on those weekends (stupid birthday interfering with car stuff!)
