I agree DrBump, glad your family had so much fun, THATS what I wanted, My wife is kicking around a Fall event. we'll see. Just look if we did do the 0-100-0 MPH, if the autoX was on a point system, as was the 0-100-0 MPH, the high power muscle cars could make up some ground and the top 10 spots would be super tight! the top 9 places were within a second of each other!!!!!!!!!! sweet racing by all, I didn't see much of My group run though, as Matt drove the car in and it just "Quit", Jay, my mechanic at family North was on hand and said my starter, or wires to the starter fried somehow, so it was push-start fun from there on out. I had to let it Idle for 2 hours till I went home!
I need better personnel next year, guess the front gate people were pocketing alot of loot, they were broke, yet they were all flying on plane rides!!!???? My car-show judges had to leave early, so I assigned the task to 2 other competent people to judge the car show, and I was tabulating the winners of the race portion, when we were handed a judges recommendation list, and assumed that was what the judges decided on to win trophies. The next day, one of my friends asked me why we didn't use ANY of the cars they chose! I was like WTH? I guess the list that was handed in, was not by my appointed Judges, I dont even know who handed that list in!!! I have the names of the people who actually won the trophies, they will be awarded next year!!!!!!! Sorry about that. There was NO bad car out there, but fair is fair, I will make good to the people whom actually won. There will definetly be a personal change for next year!!!!!!!! talk to you soon!

Kevin

next year i will definitely bring the lancer instead of my dad's ranger. Although i guess having the truck paid off by helping haul the crap to the show.. Ehh, either way next year its the lancer's turn.

let me just say i'm glad i had my breaks and rotors tonight, some lady turned right on red about 30feet ahead of me, i leaned heavily on the break, and missed her rear quarter/bumper by a foot or two, nothin too crazy, just a honk and a finger and i was on my way back up to 60.
this was on 146th street and clay terrace...

No biggie man. Don't stress over that. You/someone had asked for my friend and I to judge about 8-9 groups but when we turned it in someone was like oh they already have those??!! We where confused but oh well. I still had a blast and would have done it over again in a heart beat. Thanks again if I haven't said it enough already

Kevin Rocks!!

Just talked to Dustin with Butler University, He said he has TONS of footage, and will cut the film down on his time off, as he is now filming events at the Indy 500. will keep you posted when it is done! Butler University is the ones who put the sticky mount camera on my car, If you were wondering where I got a "rig" like that!

[B]P.S., for all on the list, MOVE up one more position! the black nissan was a trailered 300ZX (flat-black) regular club racer, So it looks like the KY evo TOOK the 1st position! Congrats. I will keep thinking about the top 5, and how I can disqualify them so I can be crowned the winner. I was only 1/2 second out of first, which was a close tight packed field!

Hey, I squeezed every oz. of horse power out of my OZ.... LOL! I think I did pretty well bringing it in at 35.8 sec. I was only .1 sec behind a Ralliart. I think the only car out there with less horse power than me was the Go-Cart! Oh well, I had fun and that is the point!

As for pictures, My wife was in charge of the camera. Lets just say that she is not very good hat holding the camera still when she hits the shutter button. I wish digital cameras didn't blur when you move them...... I think I have a picture of the "Stickermobile", but I can not say for sure. Can others please post their pictures so I can see what the show portion of the event was like?

Thanks!
Jay
