freakin awesome job kevin. i enjoyed the hell out of it, although im redder than that miata right about now. well done and excellent turnout, congrats again...can't wait until next year, maybe i'll actually run my car next time.

best part about the trophy was right after when the little girl asked kevin what Ky Jelly was.

 

i had tons of fun, just extremely red after that sunny day that everyone was hoping for. Never had so much fun at a show in my life Thanks Kevin!

Thanks for all the help, and all the great racing/ cars on display!!!!! We will be doing this again next year, same time. This time I was assured the airport would be closed for the day! We will actually find out who has the best all around car! Next Years event will have the autoX, bigger faster track on one ramp, possibly a drift event on the other "ramp", or one huge track utilizing both ramps, the 0-100-0 (possible 0-130-0MPH) on the Runway, and the car show, this time I will make sure the designated Judges can stay till Judging time (sorry for that).

I will post the times of all finishers by tonight, and otter, I'm glad you liked your "gag" trophy, and I'm sorry you had to listed to my wifes S L O W speech on the PA system, It sounded like she was a little "slow", but she said the reverb was interfeering with her concentration. I had a great time also, except for my starter taking a "dump" and having to push start it, lucky I had My Mitshu Mechanic on hand! Did everyone see Bob of Bob and Tom fame in the crowd? Nice guy! His Son has a nice ride also. I hit the cones my last run, as my wife was the passenger, and she started *****ing from the get go "SLOW-DOWN!, your not taking the kids to the store anymore in this car!" etc... I was trying to hit something hard, hopefully to knock her unconscious till I got to the finish line, but there were only cones out there!JK. Will post the finishing order tonight, The Lancers didnt do too bad, Taking out the AutoX regulars, and the kit cars, go carts, EVOS finished 2-3!!! The field had 70 Racers!! AWESOME! Thanks to everyone that made this event happen! My family and I had a blast! Thanks to this event, my wife has agreed to let me start modding my car! (Most of the stuff I do behind her back.) She had a lot of fun ridding with me on my final run. We will be at the SCCA Event at Grissom AFB next weekend if anyone else wants to show up.

He was in the show, not racing, he drives a 4 door honda with a carbon hood. I am awaiting the final copy of the "docufilm" from Butler Univ., will let you know what comes up. and will keep you posted!

 

I am confused, as some of these times are not in numerical order? Am I missing something? Wow, 7th overall for me (Ryan D) and I was just breaking my autox cherry!

I corrected the time ahead of you, they should ALL be in ascending order, is there any other messed up? you did come in 7th overall, great driving, and since I came in just below you, and the times are so close............Florida rules apply. I DEMAND A RECOUNT!!!! just kidding, I've never done this before either. congrats on your run!!

 

Man, feels good to beat out a Mustang Mach 1, Porsche Carerra, Cobra 427, a WRX and OTTER!!!
Too bad I didn't have the slicks to compete with the red Ralliart, but next time....vengence is mine! bwahahahaha

I wouldn't worry about the people who dropped out cause they couldn't go real fast in a str8 line.....next year will still be bigger and badder.
