Hey, I was on the North side of Columbus last night with my wife in my RS and ran up on a group of cars, Firebird, Mustang and another white Evo. Ran up and gave the guy in the Evo the high sign and we ran along for a few moments prior to him getting off 270 and going north.

Whoever ya are, props.

VWJeff maybe?? I know he is always out running around C-Bus.

BTW, no auto-x for me tomorrow. Due to some install complication, my car is still at BR. I may still drive down to talk some smack though.

Well, had tons of fun at Nelson ledges, just great time. Highly recommended. A lot of track time (around 2 hours) and could be more. About 40 cars attended (that was pretty crowded) usually 30 come. Track is pretty open, not a lot of traffic. Great guys too. Had fun running with 2 vettes (which I passed of course ). Truck is a bit bumpy, but the whole FunDay thing was better than running with Nasa or flat out day at Beaver run. Even though Nasa is well organized and so is Beaver Run, FunDays was just simple. If I wouldn't run out of gas , I could run more (just felt that it's time for evo to cool off), basicly you can run all you want (especially at the end of the day). Fun times, definately going there next friday.

Here are some pics, enjoy:

Although I went in the other day and they don't carry hardly anything anymore.. (no Greddy, HKS, ACT, Exedy...)

Last year there was a car (it was a vette or a gto i can't remember) that had a custom turbo setup.. it was in the back of the car.. right near the exhaust outlet.. and he had pipes running back up to the front.. I don't know how it was worth the effort.. (did anyone see it..?)

Just what ever you do.. be careful driving on I-76.... cops are out like crazy.
They hide on the on-ramp.
Thats the only place Vettes and Camros and Transams can put a decent size turbo at lol. There some decent ones out there runnin good numbers even with how far the air has to travel back up to the motor.

Summit was off the hooks. they had to park people across the street at the church parking lot. thats a first lol. i went down to masslion downtown car show at nite brought a 73 z28 camaro with me. Evos broke.

Alex, looks like fun. I am jealous of the Diablo sighting. I've been to Nelsons, and been around Nelsons, just never in the driver's seat. After a lap or two you really get an appreciation for how well Mid-O is kept.

I did some Auto-x'ing this weekend. No pics, I was flying solo. BUT, I do have a video of my best run.

Bobby, course was very similar to the last one but a little more wide open. A lot of 2-1 shifts (3 for me). A couple of little straights you car would have tore the f' up! Their next one is in July but it's Porsches only, so essentially, the next one for us is August.

Holy crap, that car gets way more beating than at the track . Nelson ledges is a bit bumpy, but very well put together. Very fast track (over 2 miles, just like Mid-Ohio) but people run 1:15 and so on comparing to mid-ohio's 1:40s.

I'm going up there this friday again, just can't let go .

I want camera in my car too, where'd you get it and how did you install? Any bumper camers?

I got my camera a while ago at Best Buy. It's nothing special but the wide-angle lens helps a lot. Ended up making a mount of wood that mounts to the passenger seat.
