I cant believe I sold it, got what I wanted for it, didnt have time for it anymore. new hobbies are shooting guns with the kids. heres my new toys Del-Ton AR-15 and a 2011 GMC Sierra Z85 4x4 Crew Cab.

 

Where is everyone at? Paul, you need to come home so we can start building the jeep.

 

The Jeep is sitting ready and there is a boat load of parts in the garage waiting to go in. Anyone know where I can get a cheap MIG welder and some 18ga sheet steel?

 

Just chiming in after a discussion with tim today. I am now a second time EVO owner after being lucky enough to purchase evo loco's yellow 8. It feels wonderful to be in the game again after selling my 03 BBY evo almost a year ago. I would like to thank evo loco for the amazing car. I look forward to meeting you all.

The shootout is coming closer. Who all is going? This would be a great opportunity for me to meet some fellow evo owners from the local area.

N KY here. Taylor Mill area. I've turned a few wrenches on Timmy's car. He will certainly be missed.

 

I live in Cold Spring but work at TiC in Fairfield. We've talked about a meet but we're just too busy with personal stuff and the race program. I'm heading to the shootout on Friday at noon with a couple evos. Staying at the econolodge.

 

Harbor freight has a gassless mig welder that a few of my friends and I have used with success for our jeeps 110 volts good for mild steel . We have only used it for some roll cage additions as well as custom tubular t case crossmember. I'm not experienced with it on 18 ga sheet metal just like 3/16 wall steel I'm sure you can find some other people who have tried it on sheet metal as I assume that is what you will be using it for. If you look on the cdm link in my sig go under forums > build ups > 94 yj pt 2 The red Yj shows the welds that can be made using it. ( I tried copy and pasting the web address but it just goes straight to www.cdmfabrication.com each time idk ).

Appauldd - I believe I saw you on 275 East last Sunday. I could not catch up due to the rain and traffic. Car looked good from really far away. lol

blackevolution8 - I am still working out my schedule with work for the shootout but I will definitely be attending. I will probably be leaving the west chester area with two other EVOs.

 

Definitely wasn't Paul unless he's back from Iraq. I was in Florence Sunday around 6-7pm. May have been me. Let me know about leaving for the shootout. Always fun to cruise with a group.
