I sure wish I could go to the shootout. I have had my evo since 03 and have never made it to the shootout. Damn army commitments.

Its at Norwalk Raceway. In Norwalk OH. About a 4- 4 1/2 hour drive from the Cincy NKY area.

 

We need to get a big group together to represent the cincinnati area. I just booked all american inn yesterday so if anyone needs a room they should still be available.

So, today i followed a silver X MR all the way up 27 through oxford. It was debadged had a ams sticker on the deck lid, also had IL plates and a MIAMI University licence plate frame.. Just seeing if he was in this thread or not. Good looking car

 

Hmmmm dont think I've seen him around before. I've seen a couple grey X's and a red one around. But not a silver one

 

Turpdogg and I are going I think leavin Saturday morning and I am at least getting a hotel room and staying for Sunday as well. Saturday is autox and car show sundays drags.

Who wants to go?! I missed it last year, but it was a great turn out!!!! From what I'm told its a damn good time. There is a guy that lives in Louisville that is coming up to cincy first, and i'll probably ride out with him. It would be awesome if we could get a few people together to cruise out there!!

I plan on going but we will have to wait and see what the weather is going to be like. I went last year and it was ok. It is a good time, always is seeing the cars we are into all in one place at the same time. I am planning on driving my Evo up but if I don't get my idle fixed before then I will be driving my other car, it gets old restarting the car at stops. I was supposed to get it fixed yesterday but the guy ran out of time, so hopefully one day this week it will be done.
