Greg,
I wasn't trying to advertise your expertise on everything...sheesh. People might not ever leave you alone if I told them all how much you really know.
The EVO is a ZEN that many try to learn, but few ever achieve.

Haha, then you have no idea how many calls and PM's I already get.
By the way, Jon and AMS won the NASA TTU National Championship yesterday at Mid Ohio. I'm very honored to have been able to help Jon and his Dad out out yesterday. I can now say I've worked the car that is the Champ! I posted more detailed info in a thread in the Motorsports forum if you need to know more.

Okay, here is a tech question I have for you. I purchased my car a while back and it already had a buschur TBE and buschur intake filter. The car also came with a weapon R engine shock stabilizer and a autometer boost guage. My question is, I think that the car has been flashed as the rpm cut-out doesn't kick in till around 8k. My real question is can the flash set the boost psi. I notice the guage jumps up to around 20-21psi then falls to about 19psi. I have also installed an HKS SSQV myself, not that this would change anything. I have searched high and low and have found no installation of a mbc. So there lies the question, can a flash set the boost psi?
I haven't looked into modifying the wastegate duty cycle tables nor the boost control solenoid tables, since adding a mbc is much easier (and I had a mbc long before I started reflashing ecu's). It is important to remember though, that the stock turbo will taper boost no matter what you do. Even with the mbc, I'll peak at 23-24psi and it falls to around 20 at redline.
sorry I did not reply sooner. On vaca till next tuesday. I do not have a wideband yet. So I have not made any changes yet. Just seeing who was around that could help. I will get with you after I get a wide band. It will probobly be awhile as it is time for tires and suspension work now. Thanks guys Joe
I already have some coilovers that I had on the old evo. Omni power's not the best but already paid for, and seemed to work well on the last car only had them on it for 4 months. I still need to get a sway bar and tires.

You can't sell the car till I have had the chance to race and beat you just once. C'mon man don't let me down. Not to mention that sweet Monster Sport titanium heat shield is coming your way when I get back....remember?
