We can make this the biggest EVO meet in the USA if everyone comes. Ohio has more EVOs and any other state. This is being held at a state park. There is a 3 buck entrance fee, but we are guaranteed to not be kicked out. Hope to see you all there.

We need some volunteers to help with the BBQ.

I have had my car 2 weeks now and am having a blast.

I have been down to the Hocking Hills a few times to hit the twisties and the car just keeps amazing me. It feels like it takes corners as well as my old crotch rocket!

Anybody who is interested in a little more hills and curves than Columbus has to offer should drop me a msg or post here. Just so anyone interested knows what to expect....I am not talking about 120 mph in every straight stretch and four wheel power slides in every corner. Just nice clean spirited driving while keeping an eye out for amish buggies and deer.

 

sounds like fun.... we should go for a ride this weekend.

I was not thinking ahead when I made my post. I am actually on call at work this weekend...so it will be the following weekend before I am available.
The days are getting shorter quickly it seems, so an evening ride would probably not be worth it.

Maybe Saturday Sept. 3rd????

I bought the silver viii w/ ssl that Ricart had a few weeks back. I felt dirty just driving into thier parking lot. The only other car in town was the black one at Dennis...but after reading about your problems I never even talked with them. I didnt trust the truck I was trading in to make the trip to Cleveland or Cinci, so Ricart was my only choice

i lost a piston ring on number 4 at neofest a couple weeks ago.

I havent even touched or looked at the car since it happened. Im too busy with school to dick with it right now so it will probably sit until winter or so. :-(

I'm in the Hocking Hills area as well. PM me if you want to cruise some weekend...I have a couple of fun roads that I know of...give your 3-4 and 4-3 shifts a nice workout...and a nice deserted straightaway that you can hit pretty high speeds on.

Sept 3 is bad for me though, I'll actually be back in Columbus for the football (OSU)and soccer (USA Men's Nat Team) games.

How about somewhere in Dayton? I have been trying to get guys together in Dayton for over a year now. Half the the guys are so arrogant that they won't even talk to you because they think their sh*t don't stink. I met some guy earlier this year at Circuit City at the Dayton Mall that was cool and gave him my number, but he never called. I think he worked at the base or something and had a dent in the side of his Evo and he is a member on this forum as well. Oh well, anyone interested in a Dayton meet sometime soon?

 

I got into an argument about this with some idiot from Cali who said we don't have the most Evo's. Funny to hear it from someone else.

 

the guy you met was probably gary. he has a silver evo and works on the base, he is always busy, thats probably why you haven't heard from him. who have you met with an evo in dayton that thought there **** didn't stink? i know most of the dayton evo owners, and most of them are really nice guys, there are a few that are dousches but in general most are very nice guys.

where do you live in dayton? i live in centerville and have a silver evo, i never drive it though, except on the weekends mostly. i would be into meeting up somewhere to hang out. i know several evo owners in dayton that i could try to rally together for an evo meet. hit me up with a pm if you want to organize something locally

 

A kid with a black one on my side of town, a brother(black guy) with the red one same area, the guy with the blue one that wouldn't talk to me and a couple more here and there. I don't know their names because they wouldn't talk. There are more Evo owners around here than what most think, so I've lost track of the rude ones on my side of town. I'm in Clayton.

 

The only person I can think of with a blue evo would be the other gary but I haven't heard from him in a while. As for meeting up give me a date in advance and I'll see what I can do with my schedule and coordnating with the other couple evos on the base for a meet. let me know, also dayton_evo you have a PM.
