Hey FireBall, DDubb and I will let you know for sure by next week or whenever you need to know by of who's all going.

We both live near Schaumburg so if you get in on Friday, maybe we can all meet up. Also since the event starts at 10am to 3pm, if I may make a suggestion? From Schaumburg it may take roughly 2.5 to 3 hours to get there so maybe the convoy should leave around 8 +/-. That way we'll get there 10:30 to 11 (maybe earlier) so we all can get there, do whatever for the whole event and not get there like at 12 or 1 then have to leave since the event is over at 3pm.

Just a thought.

So, what's everyone's thoughts on the mini-meet before hand?

I'm trying to organize something at AMS Friday night, and then all going down from there Saturday morning around 7-8ish.

 

i'd like to meet up there. meet more people and see more scenery.

 

I'm in for the overnight. Do we have any willing hosts for overnight stays?

I think we are 90% in and we aren't bringing the baby. I also talked to ttmanta and I think he is also in for the road trip. I'm down for whatever....

 

Sounds good for the Friday night meet, AMS or wherever. Have we decide where we're all meeting in the morning yet?

 

i am game for the mini meet and the convoy to normal. i live in kankakee but willing to drive where ever i need to.

i already emailed my rsvp so just let me know when the convoy leaves.

I think you all from out of town should stay around Woodfield (Schaumburg), it's somewhat centralized for most people and if we meet at AMS it'll be nearby. There's an Extended Stay on Golf Rd, down the way from the mall, but if you all have an area you want to stay around let us know we can suggest hotels/motels for you to look into.

that's cool, but St. Charles will be further south and west from Schaumburg. Thought I don't care where we meet but around Woodfield would be good because it's next to I355, which we'll take south to I55 then to Normal/Bloomington.
