i got an email from Terry Schull, who is one of the members organizing this event. He asked me how many people we are expecting to show up from EvoM, I told him we aren't sure yet becuase a lot of people have not been informed yet.

Im interested. I would be coming from Ohio though, so its a debate whether to just go to Normal or drive to Chicago first.

I'll be there no way i would miss this i've been looking forward to this for awhile now. it'll be a kick *** weekend for me cause i have autoX the next day!

 

Ok, there is a Motel 6, right down the road from AMS. It's $48.99 a night for a room with 2 beds in it. That's less than like $25 a person.

I need to know solid numbers now... who's all coming so I can make reservations. There's PLENTY of rooms available there.

Ill hopefully be coming. I live 25 minutes from ams so i dont need a hotel room.

I am roughly 1hr away and don't really want to drive out Friday after work and not sleep in my bed. What time is the group planning on leaving on Sat morning? If it is reasonable I will just drive out a bit early on Sat.

I would also suggest a few things for those that are going
-Do the speed limit/speed of traffic (a large group of us will draw enough attention as is..let alone bad attention)
-Bring radios with multiple channels and privacy codes (ie Moto talk abouts)
-Compare those with iPass to those without because tolls will break the group apart (I'm in IL and don't even have an iPass)

 

We're planning on leaving AMS at 7am. Be there, or be square.

I do recommend radios as well. I'll have a couple on my person. I agree about the tolls though, gotta love IL for that.

Perhaps I could meet the group at a different location seeing how if I go to Arlington Heights that puts me an hour out in the wrong direction. It is a straight shot south if I take 39 and virtually toll-less
