Matt may have hit a 1:22, I think the rest of us were running mid 1:23 to low 1:24 by the end. I've run in 4 and it was pretty good, but I was "surprised" once by a high HP 911 track car so I wanted a little more time to cook. Even Buzz's yellow "Z07" isn't going to appear out of nowhere if you're paying attention, but the full bore GTU/AIX cars make me a little nervous yet. But for the most part those guys know what they're doing and know when you know they're there -- but not always! And when you're doing the passing you can always elect not to if you're not sure. A 1:24 is a respectable TTC time, so go for it! That's my plan.

Geez, what tires are those times on? My best on the stock Yoko's is a 1:25, but I average 1:26's. I don't think with the Advans I could even touch a 1:22, with minimum engine mods as well. I'm running a Works P2 and 269 cams with all else stock, including suspension.

Yeah, you got to watch out for those 600hp AIX guys.

Next May look for a '96 Cobra, white with a purple stripe down the center.
Actually the DrButter is on my trunk, but yeah it was me, I wish I could have met you!!! we will soon though, we are doing a photo-shoot for next years winged warrior event on Saturday (get me a MVSCC banner by then!), will heavily advertise this time!! radio/billboards/TV etc... I will look forward to looking at that stripe in my rear-view mirror JK, we will have an AWESOME SHOW IN MAY! I will e-mail you the photoshoot proofs when I get them.
nice to hear from you again,
till next time,

you guys (evo) kicked my butt, well lets say, you didnt pass me! but then again, I didnt pass you either! even when I was sandwitched inbetween the blue and yellow one! great driving by the way. I guess my 280 cams are better suited for dragracing, and the 264/272 combo would be best suited for this course! Who had the stock blue one with the trailer hitch? I tried and couldnt get close enough to pass!

Toyo RA-1s, man! And Matt has stock MR suspension. Scott had some old Hoosiers, in May they would have been wicked but by October I'd take the Toyos. I'm sure you hit 1:24 in the last session. Did the yellow GT3 ever catch you?

Yeah, you got to watch out for those 600hp AIX guys.
Have you met the little French guy with the 700+HP Mustang? He's a card.

Toyo's gotta get me some of those. Hopefully they're worth at least 2 more seconds.

I didn't think the GT3 was ever on the course the same time as me. That's Jeremy Miller's car. He's fast! I believe he has another GT3 that he uses for TT's.

Are you the silver Evo? I think I talked to you too. You guys are cheating with your R-comps

yes I am cheeting on the R-comps, I still couldnt keep up with you, and I gave you all I had. Next time, you pull the trailer, and I might have a chance! Matts suspension is stock EXCEPT the Cusco rear swaybar. My suspension consisted of Shaved RA-1's, Perrin endlinks,Cusco rear sway bar, Cusco trunk-brace, and Tanabe coilovers! Thats alot to put on and not keep up with a "stocker" reconsider buying parts you dont need! great job.

Let me sort this out...

SmokedMustang is obv Kevin
I know Mayhem = Chris from Ky
djh = Dave from OH
who is 992gnt? Were you out there this weekend?

Other Evo's out there... are they on this board?

Dan with the 05 Blue
____ with the white RS
I can't remember the guy with the Yellow one on Hoosiers name

I think that is it. I dont know if I hit the 22's or not, but I do know I worked my way out of an Evo sammich between the yellow hoosier shod and Dave hehe. I can't wait for time trials next year. I think we'll all be competitive

I'm Greg from KY ('03 BBY), and I wasn't there on the 8th and 9th, but I was there on the 1st and 2nd. I missed it by one weekend. On the one hand I wish I would have went up there with all you guys, but I did have perfect weather all weekend long and over 3 hours of seat time.

Chris - RA1's are definately capable of 1:23's there, even in October.

Clint had the white RS, I think he lives up by Muncie.

The yellow one is Scott's. It just took me a little longer to get around that red Acura...
I was disappointed you weren't shooting flames out your exhaust like a good straight-pipe car should! Must be that titanium muffler.

Stupid Netscape browser: when I try to reply to mayhem's post it goes blank, I can't see anything I type! The yellow GT3 was gridded near the Noble, outside row, in the last session. Towards the end the Noble got me but the GT3 didn't. I don't think it's Jeremy's, he has a 911 Turbo. And if it was Jeremy he would have passed me. He likes to get under your rear bumper and scare the cr*p out of you. But in a friendly way.

We have to meet up at Mid-Ohio next season. We should be able to get a great Evo turnout.

Dave

Okay thanks for the info. Clint, Greg and Scott... to go with Kevin, Chris, Dave, Dan and myself. I'm horrible with names lol. It looks like we'll have one helluva turnout at some events next year!

I want to talk about Time Trials with you guys, should I start a new thread or just keep this one going?
