If the MR came in Black I would had bought it as well. The MR again is a great car and so far i think you might be the only MR besides Don on here but he has an 05. Oh yeah don't worry if you aren't fast yet, try to keep your warranty...until they void it for a dumb reason and them let the modding begin. back to your rims...you should consider the rims taht will fit your taste as well... Le28 are nice but there are some nice rims from advans as well. Volks are nice but they are quite pricey. Well yeah i'll meet up with you guys this friday if the weather is nice. Who on here knows how to install HID. I'll be getting a set soon. take care guys.
Yea, give me a calls man. If the weather is nice I'll come out also. I heard the HID installs are a pain man. I think you can look in DIY section. Don't go for rims right nows. Go for power mods. Got my HS installed Kayyo, and 4g63_24.

Here is my mod list to be completed by summer:

HKS Type 0 turbo timer
Buschur Racing Turbo back exhaust
Forge unos Manual boost controller
Walbro Fuel pump ( I know the IX has upgraded fuel pumps but just for insurance)
K & N drop in Filter
Custom tuned or dynoflash by AL

this is all I have in mind if there is something that you guys think I need add it on here.

Sy,
There are only four colors for the MR unless the guy painted his...the colors are rally red, graphite gray, wicked white and apex silver. Oh yeah i think you said you put in a k & N filter right, I heard some where that the filter comes with oil or something and that you should let it dry or else it might affect your car...any members aware of this post up some detail..thanks

that's all it takes to make a IX fast as far as I know, you might want to add a MBC as well

Hey, if you do all of this, you might have to go to AMS, or Buschur since AL doesn't come to MN a lots for custom tune. Or else you can head too DB.

I think the problem is when you re oil it, some of the oil gets in the MAF and throws off the sensor.

Yes the K & N filter is great but remember that you might have to let it dry before putting it in. Youalso have to buy some cleaner to clean your sensor as well...the stock one is okay but the K & N one is better. I haven't put one in yet so I do not know the process of it yet but as soon as I do it, i'll give you feedback. Also has anypne done a K& N filter? I know some of you guys did.

Would you guys be in for a meet at Prokart in burnsville? If we could get a total of 10 people we could run one of the race packages.

I have a K&N. It was pretty oily when I put it in. I didn't know about any MAF problems and didn't bother drying it out at all. I never had any problems. It was good enough to help me run 12.07 with a cat-back and very few mods. I think it was worth the $.
