I found some more info about ethanol E85 and E95 that is really interesting/scary. I was on the right track about it being corrosive with gaskets, but it is also corrosive to aluminum
"From the corrosion standpoint, aluminum can have some issues when you get into 85 percent ethanol," said Mike Bartush, product manager, environmental systems for Cincinnati-headquartered OPW. "We offer an anodize product that coats these materials so that there's not a problem with these alternative fuels. We also changed some of our gaskets about five years ago to be more compatible with the new fuels. When you're talking about five or 10 percent ethanol it's not an issue."

They host a number of events over the summer. I tend to prefer track days instead (more speed & more seat time), but the local AutoX scene is well attended.
I think it would be interesting to see another well built "stock turbo" car locally. My Evo has hit 310 whp (but usually runs just over 300 whp) on the Mustang at RS. The car is tuned on 93 pump and is still running a suprising number of stock parts.
Right now the car is parked, though. I need to address a few things before it sees any fun this spring.
If it's sunny out this sunday does anyone want to meet up and have a little drive around town...just trying to add more mileage onto my IX. Another question, has anyone purchased the IX JDM bumper for their ride yet? thanks guys. Oh yeah the other day i got a car wash up at M and H in st.paul, i was wondering if any of you evo guys fill up there.

Wanna PM me your info again, I picked up the treo 700w to replace my 650 and didn't import my old information...
Also, if Noah has closed Speedlab, how do we get a hold of him to do any work on our cars?
Where is Noah working out of now?

Anyone know a reputable shop for tinting? Maybe we can do a group tint and get a discount or something. I created a thread on window tinting a while ago and street scenes came up but they are expensive, around 240 or something like that. I figured since it was winter it would be cheaper but guess not.
