Cool Who else here is from the "darkside"(Subaru Land)?

Just curious to see how many people have Subaru's but wouldn't mind owning a Evo here.

I'm no longer an owner of a Subaru, but I am a big fan. My favorite car ever was my '90 Legacy Sport Sedan with the 2.2 Turbo and AWD. The Evos are an excellent car, but I'd also love the new Sti. Guess I just appreciate great automobiles, no matter who builds them.

I traded in my 2.5RS (2001, GC8) for my Evo. And I don't consider them the darkside. Like Ken, I appreciate both automakers. But I also like the rivalry because when the manufacturers are competing with each other for your business, the consumer wins with better cars!

I used to own a WRX and have a deposit on the STi but have enourmous respect for the EVO and think it will be a great car. I hope to work with a lot of them and have begun stocking parts for them.

Was this intentionally put in a region forum? If there's some grande design behind it being here I won't mess with it, but otherwise I should probably move it.

Sorry, I meant to say in the Midwest since I have recognized a few of the same names on the Subaru boards and just wondering how many of my club mates are on here.

I used to own a 02 WRX. Stage 3 M2 kit w/VF23 turbo and upgraded TMIC, 17" SSR comps/Toyo T1S, M2 sport springs & rear swaybar, Prodrive projector headlamps, STi JDM grill, painted OE rockers, kartboy SS/ bushings/knob, Defi gauge pod and 60 mm defi gauges w/link. It was a pretty bad-*** looking, and running WRX. I have seen a 0-60 of 4.6 seconds. The tranny started making crunchy noises so it was bye-bye WRX.

Have had two VW's since ( a Turbo S Beetle and a 337 GTi), and now a Lightning Yellow EVO. The EVO is the car BTW........ !!!

my dad used to own a Subie..an old one with a turbo it was before i even thought about cars, but he said it was exactly what an old Subaru is, it lacked something and something was always wrong with it

but he said how he loved it when he fealt the turbo kickin, he could especially feel it because of the turbo lag lol

I'm a rally fan first, so they are all fantastic cars to me.

Right now though, the EVO couldn't hang with my regular activities like my WRX can so I'm sticking with my boxer.
