Just wondering how many people in southern WI, and Northern IL, actualyl have paintball guns and such, thought maybe it would be fun to get together and shoot some paint. For starters i haven't played in like 3 years so i am no pro at all. it would just be basic paintball in the woods, capture the flag. see how many people would actually do it, about 6-8 of my buddys have guns and want to play, so i figure what the hell, anyone else out there have a gun and want to play??


I was thinking around mid-end of June, beginning of July??? There are no dates set yet, so any suggestions as to when people work, don't work, busy weekend or not would be great. as soon as i know a date i would post it up for anyone that would want to play.

OK i am going to Finalize it, July 8th (Saturday) 8:30a.m. (Play Field Link ) paintball weekend in Gurnee, if you are interested sign your self up and we can go from there. i will send the place an e-mail to see how much of an advance they need to know about howmany people there are going to be and if we can hit 25 for a private party.

I'll play. Me and 4 of my neighbors just got guns and think two of them would be willing to play. I can only play on Sundays though.

ALLLRIGHT! Im soo in.. but no gun anymore.. i may be able to borrow one from my old team.. I miss playing .. this should be ongoing!!

 

Sweet does anyone have anywhere near them where they can play??? i mean i would drive almost anywhere, i just want to play in the woods or something like that, none of that speedball or anything like that. i need to get back in the swing of things and get better at playing

 

I haven't played since last summer but I know at least three other people that would play. I'm pretty sure if we get between 25-30 together we could probably play private games at almost any park. We played at a pretty good place last summer, Chalange Park, somewhere by joliet south of chicago. I'd play anywhere too

 

i never played at a park, how much you think they would charge if we had like 30 peeps for a day to have us play privately, don't they usually have you buy the paintballs they have there?? like i said as far as paintball parks go, i don't know how they work i never palyed at one.

so if all would play that already puts us at 14 (considering the 2 of 4 neighbors play)

i am going to research some parks near WI/IL border and post em' up let me know what others think.

also remember if someone has a nice wooded lot willing to let us play on also that would be awesome, we could bring some supplies to grill out, and make a day of it.

so if anyone has a place northern IL, or Southern WI, that knows a place please post up, or has a palce we could use. Even if you want to play i have 2 guns, so if you have a place, but no gun, you could borrow my other one, i would really like to do this

 

That'll be cool to go into the woods to shoot some paint, but better bring lots of extra air tanks for the guns too, it'll sux to have lots of paint ***** and no air. We'll just be hand throwing it at each other.

honestly, i have 2/ 20 oz tanks, and they are good for a box of prob 1000+ of paintballs or so each, so if i shoot over 2000+ paintballs in the woods, then i am pretty trigger happy. I don't know i guess playing in the woods, you don't have to shoot all the time constantly, and itd a lot more fun to TRY and sneak up on some people and take them out w/out noticing.

But i get what you are saying, next thing you know we are throwing paintballs that would be hilrarious

 

I'll bring my sling-shot just in case.......

 

The old challenge park is a wonderful place to paintball, but i think that would be wayyyy to far of a drive for you northern people

 

There is a place around Racine that is outside, I went there for a bachelor party. I would play but I don't have my own equipment. If we went to place like that I would be down.

 

Don't forget we need to chrono.. i dont want anyone losing an eye....

I usually play speedball.. once in the woods and I was attacked my a mob of mosquitos during the west nile scare.. haha

I'll dig up some info on where to play as well and I can get peeps..
