Check the link Creamo posted. Its in Union Grove, WI. I used to live in Decatur and I'd say its an easy 4hr drive from there. Byron would be much closer to you.

I too like going to GLD but then again its the only track I've ran at. Track prep has never been a problem for me there. I've been to Byron once but just to spectate. Hearing about these potholes though might have me changing my mind for Saturday. I guess I live closer to Byron now anyway so it won't be such a drive.

I'm going to Byron; I think it's a nicer track but neither of them hold a candle to Rt. 66.

Chris if you're out in Huntley your best bet is Byron as you are right by 90 and it's less than an hour away. Let me know if you want to meet up on the way there; we could meet at the Belvedere Oasis if you wanted.

Yeah I checked directions to Byron and its a lot closer than I thought. I'm down for it. Just post up on here when you decide what time you're leaving. And then, If you can give an estimate when you would be in the area of the Belvidere Oasis, that will help also. I've got another buddy with a silver Evo coming as well.

The rains came right as we were pulling in around 10:30 and they closed the track about 15min later. Would have been nice to get a couple runs in at least. Oh well. I think a buddy of mine and I are going back tomorrow though. Should be sunny with no chance of rain.

were you in the yellow evo??

I was in the black one and Boltz was in the white one. I was having major wheelspin/hop problems and regardless of how I launched I would end up running 12.1 lol. Boltz ran some amazing times, his car was FLYING.

For those of you that went to GLD yesterday, how was the track? Have they repaired the potholes that were mentioned earlier in this thread?

I dont know why people are complaining about pot holes. There are some pot holes in the right lane where you would do a burnout but nothing that would effect Evo's. I personally like GLD and would reccomend it.

Damn, should have gone to GLD. I didn't because it looked like they were going to get more rain than Byron. What times did you run Boltz?
