I was talking to a buddy of mine about running up there this weekend. The weather doesn't look too promising for Saturday though with a high of 40 and a chance for rain. So weather permitting I'll be running Saturday and if not, it'll be Sunday.

I think they open at 10am so I will probably show up around 11-12 ish. If anyone wants to meet up we can pick a location that is on the way and take off from there.
As long as it doesn't rain I'm going, the weather looks like it will be cold/cloudy but I don't see any rain. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up. I'm in the western burbs (Bartlett) maybe the oasis in Des Plaines I-90 before getting on 294 North.

This is the forecast I was going off of btw. http://www.weather.com/outlook/homea...I0701?dayNum=3 The only reason I mentioned the High of 40 is because GLD tends to close when temps are below 40deg which is mentioned on their homepage. So the temp will be cutting it close as well as the chance for rain/snow. I'll be calling GLD around 9am Saturday to see what the plan is and can post up on here what the final say is.
