i'm in kzoo all the time and have yet to see another evo. i've seen 4 sti's (2 blue 2 silver). when does us131 open? maybe some us can meet up then.

 

I work on 9th street in kzoo, i don't see many evo's around either. i think 131 opens next month, but i could be wrong.

Another one from Kzoo here. Where do you guys hide? The only other one that I've seen in Kzoo is the black one (Kzoo's 1st EVO). That was before I got mine. Silver ....... pretty stock.

 

Hey there I'm in Holland and I'm always down for a cruise. I have seen 2 Silver Evo's , 1 white, 1 yellow, and 1 black Evo in Holland. I have also seen a ton of Sti's around.
The only Evo that I know that is modded (beside mine) is the silver one at Speedwise, but that guy is making it a show car. What a waste if you ask me... He barely has 100+ miles on it and has done nothing but dump cash into stereo and engine dress-up. But hey to each their own... It has been on the rack for almost a year now.

Lunchbox - I live in Kzoo but work in Holland, so you may have seen my silver evo. I work with the guy whose evo is at speedwise. It looks pretty sweet but it'll never see the road. I think he plans to show it at the Import event in Chicago. I offered to break the car in for him . Given that it's only got 92 miles on it, my 82 mile round trip commute would rack up the miles pretty quick for him. No luck. Bummer. Is anyone organizing a Grand Rapids or Holland or Kzoo thing?

Yeah your co-worker should of broke the car in before he started working on it. I don't think that it was smart to do all the work before everything was broken in? I'm not sure though :?
We should set up a WestMichigan club or is there a Michigan club already? I cruise all the time around GR and Holland, once my car gets back.


and Zensai...How did you get 395WHP from those mods alone?

 

Not that our cars "fit in", but I like to check out the cool car show at Gemmens Hardware in Hudsonville every Saturday night. There's mostly classics and hot rods, but some customs and one guy always brought an rx-7. I go once or twice a month with my nsx but stay only long enough to check everything out then do something else.
That could be a nice in between meeting area for people to meet eachother at least. Or I've heard there's a big gathering at Roger's plaza but can't remember what night of the weekend that is. I've never been to that one, I kinda like the Gemmens one because you don't see alot of the idiot type kids, but then again you may see more cars like ours at Rogers too.

Lunchbox - I'm not sure if there is a Michigan club yet. Sounds cool to me though. I get over to Detoit quite a bit (visitiing in-laws) so it doesn't matter to me if it's a rotating thing (different drag strips, tracks, west side of the state then east side, whatever). All though now that I live on the west side it would be more accessable if it were on this side.
