Well I guess you will have to put up with one college kid!!

But yeah that sounds like a lot of fun. How does June sound? Like June 26th or so, hopefully should be a good day, although you never know it is Michigan.

We have a Chinesse buffet here now called Great Wall, it is much better than Dragon Express, although old times are old times.

This would be fun and I could help plan it because I live here.

Yeah! Chippewas represent!

June 26 sounds good. Lets set that as a tenative date, because things could change.
Where do you live up there, Joe? I used to reside in Lexington Ridge. Before that was Troutman and Woldt! God I miss CMU sometimes!

I've seen a couple silvers in the Rochester, Shelby Area the last couple days. The Evo really catches your attention when you see someone else driving one.

FWIW, I live in a small town in the U.P. We only have about 5K people in Hancock, but there are two red Evos! The other guy with an Evo runs a DSM in SCCA club rallys.

I'm going to be running my car at the BMWCCA Gingerman driving school on June 19-20. Anyone else going there to participate?

Peter

Peazoo - That was probably me in the Rochester/ Shelby area (look for the baby seat in the back). I picked up my Silver '03 a couple of weeks ago and have been out and about. It is "supposed" to stay parked until I sell my Silver Focus SVT, but the Evo cries to be driven so I oblige whenever possible.

I've been waiting for some kind of Michigan gathering! I am located in Grand Rapids along with at least 2 others that I have seen around the NE side.

I went to Michigan Tech from 88 - 92. I used to love driving the stretch of road along Lake Superior on the way to Eagle Harbor. Have you taken your EVO on it yet? I have always wanted to try it with a sporty car instead of my college car ('72 Olds Regency with a 455 Rocket ......... the car was probably longer than two EVOs end to end ).

Showcase Mitsubishi in Bay City, MI. Andy Leiber drives an ESP prepped Evo RS from there. He could set you up.

Showcase is a good dealer...although they don't support mods very much...so be careful with them. Andy is a good guy though!

I can only speak good of Andy. I have known him quite a while. My brother and I have both bought cars from him in the past. He is big with autocrossing. I know he used to run CRXs a lot. He was bugging me to wait for an EVO but I needed a car so I got my WRX(which I may be selling to finance an '83 911 from a friend). I got first allotment so it tells you how long I would have waited for an EVO.

Speedwise did some work on my buddy Kent's 3000GT a while back. He took me by there when I was over in Holland last Summer but they were closed.

I used to work on Waverly when I lived in Holland, Prince Machine. As a matter of fact, so does Kent. He is an engineer for Johnson Controls.

I am hoping to make a trip over there this Summer sometime. My old roomie and his wife live in Kent City and I would like to visit them.
