Why do you need to bring a gascan? They won't let you pump it into the
car?

Yeah, it's meant for automotive use, so you gotta pump it into a can, then put it in your car...

The hose is *maybe* 2 feet long, and they put a parking block in front of the pump so keep you from pulling right up on it...

But its thre, and is unleaded so it won't fry O2 sensors like Leaded 107.

 

Since you are in GR you ever go to Gratten. The BMWCCA Motorcity Chapter will be there first week of october. I use to own a BMW 330ci Silver, and it was nice been when you are getting beat by neon's it's not kewl. ALSO brake fade on BMW at the track... nice car but my 04 EVO BLOWS the bmw away.

 

Hi everyone just picked up my 04 EVO Apex Silver just a few mod's so far.. new Antenna and plate frame. They aren't really mods, but something to start with... This car is awesome. I will be in the BMW driving school in Gratten in October. I guess new 03 04 M3's can't pull away or catch the evo... and in the wet the evo win's. I have heard MITSU will not fix anything if you even HINT you were racing this thing... never tell them anything... funny thing is pay so much for the car. they build it to race and yet they won't warrenty it? all to funny. see everyone out there.

 

I have been to the Gratten labor day autocross almost every year for the past 6 or 7 years, but that was with my mx6 turbo. I dont know if I want to run any scca events with the evo. All this crap going around about dealers getting race registration information and scoping out events to axe warranties. I will wait a few years, till the warranty is closer to expire and by them I will have it built up enough to the point that the warranty will not stick anyway. Where are you in Detroit, I have family out there?

 

Congratulations on your Evo purchase I would be really interested in getting into Grattan sometime for a litte track time. I checkedthe BMWCCA website but it doesn't say anything about an Oct. event. How can I get more info? Have you been there before, if so what do you think? BTW, I'm in plymouth.
