Hello everybody,

SpeedTrialUSA has an instructional road racing school for enthusiasts of all driving levels, with all makes and models of car, on Saturday, April 14 at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, MI. This is your chance to take your driving skills and your car to the limit while learning the basics of auto racing in an educational, fun, and controlled environment.



This event is $155 for the day if you preregister before April 7 ($175 after April 7) and includes intstruction for all levels of driver and also your tech inspection. We will be running our groups in 20 minute sessions, so you will have a ton of track time! Arrive at the track at 7:30am, Drivers meeting at 8:30 am, first session begins at 9am.

The Drivers Meeting is at 8:30am.

Our event at GingerMan Raceway Saturday, April 14 is rapidly approaching. Time to make sure your car is ready. Please take advantage by having your car checked over before the event. Though we will continue to provide tech inspections at the track, pre-tech'ing your car will ensure you the most track time and also allows time just in case something is wrong. Most of the shops offer this as a complimentary service. Here are the participating tech shops:

In addition, we know that many people have their own shop. Please feel free to have your normal technician check over your car. Nope, he was replying to my e-mail inquiry this morning. I figured I'd ask, since I really don't feel like putting on winter tires to go racing in April.

As fun as that would be...

This weather is terrible. You guys are correct, we are rescheduling the April event. We are tentatively looking at Sunday, July 15, hopefully its warm by then!

Since that is so far away, we are also looking into picking up an additional date. Unfortunately, the selection is pretty limited, so it looks like we may go for Monday, June 11 too.

What do you guys think about a Monday event?

As long as I have some advance warning, it should be no problem. June 11 would work pretty good IMO, since AMS has a track day May 20th at Autobahn.
