J-Rooster - where is that Evo??

I also live in the Boulder area, and I'd love to go over and see an Evo 7 in the flesh...

Any specifics on where Ron lives? Private me through e-mail if you like....kevinbarton123@yahoo.com

I am in aurora. I have a lancer oz rally and I just recently had the clear bra put on. It came with the warrenty, but the day after I got it I was in Ft. Collins and some semi cut in front of me and flung rocks at me chipping my windshield.
I don't know about the rest of co, but in aurora they are starting to use salt on the streets. Which I think is really nice.

Salty Roads

Don't mind my post (Michigan here), but I know a lot about salty roads...it's as bad pebbles and worse in the long run. Not only can road salt chip your paint (never heard of a windshield) but the damage to the undercarriage, body and drivetrain is remarkable! It eats at your car constantly, all winter long. The more you wash it off, the more often your doors freeze shut and you're late for work. And then there's the salt trucks you have to pass showering salt rocks at you from front to back. Now, I do feel your pain on pebbles, but if you want the your car to hold value you'd rather not have the salt. However, it does help significantly with ice conditions. So, what are you gonna do, right? Sorry so winded. Peace out all you CO pple! Detroit what?!

Aurora right here.....

Yeah I think I know of the Evo you all are talking bout.....is it a white evo 7? Cause a few months or so down in the springs at the World Arena for a SCCA event a guy drove up in a white evo 7. Really cool guy though.

yeah, it was the same car..when he got it there were only 6 Evo VII's in the U.S. And he's the coolest mo'fucger I know. got the roll cage and body welds done. The first day I met him was in Dec. and he came out in shorts and a t-shirt drinking a beer to show us his car for 45 mins.
