Colorado Driving
I live in Boulder and got my EVO a couple of days ago (from Kansas).
Jedinite picked me up at the airport in his Yellow EVO let me stay at his house for the night then drove me two hours to the dealership in Manhattan Kansas to pick up the car, can't say enough nice things about Jedi
...
I drove the car back and had it broken in buy the time I got to the bottom of Lee Hill Drive for the full throttle run up to my house! The car is fantastic, what a well rounded car, I can't wait to free up some horsepower but it's quick enough for now

Sorry for the double post in the Colorado forums but I thought I might have a better chance of getting an answer in here. Who knows.
Questions for you Colorado folks. I am planning on coming to Colorado in June for a road trip and I was curious about a couple of things. I am planning on driving up Pike's Peak at the very least and a few other drives around, up and down Colorado. How cool is the weather in mid to late June. I am curious because of the Evo's soft tires that are crap in the winter (so I have been told). Also what conditions are the roads in - rough, smooth, inbetween. I would be mostly talking about the Colorado Springs area and some southern CO. Okay, last question for now. Do you guys only have 91 octane petrol? I thought that I had read that somewhere but was not sure. If that is so I am thinking about looking into the use of octane booster provided that I find out it won't foul up anything. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. I am really looking forward to getting up there and seeing the beautiful scenery.
