intersting post. is mitsu in schaumburg not on the boycott list for having a 3-4K markup or something like that. maybe they dont markup anymore. that would be nice if they didnt since that is close.

Schaumburg told me I had to put down $5000 to reserve the car, and that wasn't included in the price tag! So **** Schaumburg Mitsubishi! I'm not about to get ripped off!

haha highrev, that is hilarious. 5K that wont apply to price of car?? sounds good, where do i sign up?? i have heard nothing but horror stories of that dealership, i wont even think about looking into them. it seems that you and i are in the same situation highrev, the checking out dealerships phase. biggers in elgin told me they have some coming in this week, but i cant pull off a down payment then. another shipment comes in august. i told them i would have it together by then so he told me he would see to it that a silver one would come and it will have my name on it if i want it. if the service keeps up at this rate and the numbers come out to waht he and i discussed over the weekend i could be recommending biggers to everyone in about a month and a half. guess we shall wait and see.

It's kinda odd to know that a lot of people have had bad experience with Schaumburn Mits. I got mine there for MSRP. As a matter of fact, when I got mine (early May) there was a yellow and black one as well, also going for MSRP .. I don't know, am I missing something? Larry (whatever his last name is) seemed to be pretty cool.

I like Biggers in Elgin cuz they're friendly. I'm almost certain to buy my Evo there. I've already begun the process of parting out my Eclipse, but I've decided to sell it at CarMax since they're offering more money than trade-in.

I should be taking my almost stock car to CarMax next week and become another Evo owner by next weekend. Peace.

34k out the door from max madsen countryside(31k price, 34k after taxes, etc.) Should have talked to a few members here before purchasing. I could have saved me some $$$$

grr..

Last time I checked they have a red in the showroom and a black in the back with 20 miles. Silver one was sold. However they helped ordered one up for me since they didnt have my color.

Good Dealer

I bought mine in April from Cub Shaver in Matteson. Quite a hike from the NW burbs, but they picked me up from the Metra on the day I drove home. As of June 28 they had white, black and red. I paid $29500 and you could probably get them to throw in the Pit Pass if you talk to them like you mean business.

Should we form a "I hate Schaumburg Mitsu" club? One of the guys actually asked me, "So, how much of a premium do you want to pay"?

how much of a premium. you should say "none bastard." haha. it seems that a lot of area dealers are cool. to get one in april for 30K would have been worth a few hour hike. its all good. i think im gonna go through biggers for sure. i told him ill have a sufficient down payment soon and he told me he will make sure to get me a silver in their august shipment. life is good. who is gonna be prez of the anti schaumburg mitsu club??? haha

I've got one in Red...and a BBY just arrived...I'm 20 min. from the South suburbs.....45 from downtown....Neither one has any adds...both have the big wing and sunroof...MSRP of $30,812- no markup- and I'll work with you on the price. I've been here before telling you guys I have Evo's, and no one wants to step up. Give me a call, and we'll cut through all the BS...and you'll get a helluva car. Thanks!

I might attend but I hate the traffic on 90/94. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Just wanted to pipe in and say how much I have hated dealing with Schaumburg Mitsubishi, Stay away from there. The sales man we dealt with was good, but the sales manager is a tool. Dont buy from or go to Schaumburg for service.
