Ah yes, that manifold was fabbed up back in the day (2005) by VIP Garage. It is decent enough for what I'm doing currently. I dunno if it holds a candle to the latest FatFab hot creations! I just had it sandblasted and re-coated at Indy Pro Kote since it was showing its age.

In other cool *** news here are pics of our Nolden Motors/Orion Time Attack Evo 8 from the SEMA show

Well had AAA tow my car today...

And the freakin dumb@ss dragged the front bumper!!!!!!!!!!!
I didnt really notice until we got to the shop to drop it off, and the freaking bumper is about 1/4-1/2 in off under the headlights, and the wheel wells dont match up, as well as my front lip got torn away from the bumper on the passenger side. I HATE THIS CAR!!! Everything is a headache. Then, the guy says "oh its not that bad, it doesnt even look like its bolted on all the way anyways..."
Long story short, i let him know how i felt, and he called his supervisor and made a note in the file about it, so when i get it running, it will be going to a body shop to get an estimate, etc.

End rant...

Lol, the problem is you're asking to much. I went back and looked at them again. Unfortunately they're not in great condition. They all have curb rash, powdercoat crinkled and missing in other areas, etc. They need to be completely stripped and re-powdercoated. Not to mention you're screwed if something happens to one and you need a replacement.

Think about it. I may be heading to Chicago this weekend to pick up a set or I might just order new wheels and not worry about it.

Sorry to hear about the tow. At least they'll fix it.

Did you blowup the brand new built motor you were working on all summer? What happened?

His blown up original BR 2.0 engine is the one I was talking about. Spun #1 rod bearing. Hammer the bearing out of it and valves hit that piston.

But ya I hurt mine also, I hammer #4 rod bearing out of mine, prolly pull it next weekend and start over again.

Aw man that sucks. Was it an oiling issue with the BR2.0 or what made it let go? I'm also curious as to what caused your brand new motor to let go so quick, maybe a plugged oil passage or something?

Does either of these motors have a stock undamaged head? Or do you know where one is? I'm trying to track one down (just to borrow to measure) with stock valves in order to make a 3D CAD model for CFD and GT-Power combustion simulation. Anybody have any leads on a stock Evo head I can borrow? I want to start designing my own parts
