Yea I have talked to Melon. He is so freakin helpful. Wish he was closer and I wouldn't be having issues at this point. My evoscan is all messed up on my computer (which i will hopefully fix soon by starting from scratch again) The tune is good though. I mean it can't just go bad. I had fuel issues a while back and found that the hose had popped off of the secondary pump in the fuel tank. Seems similar this time.

I smell gas when I get into the throttle. I mean it gets kinda strong smelling. Probably a bad thing lol

 

Have you checked for leaks? Check the o-rings around the injectors, etc. Def. pm fathouse. he is local, has his own laptop to log, etc.
and he will only mancrush on you a little bit.

what ended up being the cause of the oil issue?

 

it was the harmonic balancer seal that I had already replaced once. Mitsu doesn't call it harmonic balancer, i can't remember what it was called, but its a copper seal on the bottom of the engine

 

wouldnt warranty cover it?

 

I think it would if I hadn't done so many mods to my car. I mean the cams kinda give it away, but I guess it would be worth a try to take it in.

Ya, they are leaning towards something being wrong with the crank pulley. Said it didnt seem like it was going down all the way or something like that. Last update I got they were looking for another one to compare it to, so if anyone has one laying around, let me know.

 

I recently bought some moteki lugs that I will never use 12x1.25. Had to buy some cheapy tuner lugs at the shop that put my wheels on. Oh well atleast they had something to put em on after they had already mounted the tires on the wheels.
